You guys are just so natural at this, a seamless transition from travel vlogging to a foodie vlogging For-Matt 🤨 not just having a meal as you travel around but actual facts and flavours ingredients and history of dishes. I remember the plov video you're right it really was mesmerizing to watch cooking on that scale. Awesome 🥨
You show the food which I really appreciate. I also like your descriptions. Some food channels don't actually say what it tastes like and I can taste it when you say it. Thank you!
Wow guys!!! The food in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan looked sooo goood. Harriet and I watched your food vlog while we were eating and said "look at the junk we're eating. What a Foodie Heaven. Matt and Julia, you did a wonderful job showcasing one of the many reasons ,why we should visit Kyrgyzstan.😍😍 Julia, that laugh is irresistible, don't ever lose it. Matt your so informative. Another fine vlog. Sending you lots of love💖💖 Harriet and Jim. Richmond, Va.
I loved this! I've been learning so much about Central Asian food through your recent videos and it's really REALLY speaking to me. I love how there are so many varied influences but they made their dishes uniquely their own (reminds me of Filipino food in that respect, actually!). I need to try making some now.
It all looked incredible. I love these kinds of videos. You both relish each bite and I love your descriptions of each dish. I love onions and I can only imagine the different spices must be amazing. Thank you and stay safe. ❤️❤️❤️
Welcome to Kyrgyzstan my British Friends ! Amazing pronunciation UK !!!! I from Sweden and in Scandinavian Countries like and only talk in British dialect of English.
The naan! Looked so yummy. And the dessert... 😋 You guys are doing a great job explaining the variety of dishes with all the flavors and textures. Feels like I'm eating a long with you! Now I need to watch the last 3 I missed..❤️
I fell in love with Bishkek so much so I left my life in the US behind for 4 years and moved there. That Navat you went to is my go to Navat! I go there like once a week. Ive actually sat in that same seat you were in many times LOL! I always get Mastava with Lagman and as much Borsok I can fit in my stomach.
Wow wow wow .. great food video , the foods are unbelievable, I don’t have a favourite 😍, but each time you visit a place it just keeps surprising me with the variety and quality of foods 👍👍keep up the good work goes and keep enjoying your travels … by visiting all the “ Stan “ countries u have opened my eyes at theses not so “ touristy “countries !!! I will consider theses countries in my future travels 😘thanks Matt and Julia
Oh that countryside is gorgeous and that food looked so wonderful. Thank you very much for taking us along with your travels. I very much love watching your videos. Y'all make a wonderful couple
Loved this video do nice to see all the different dishes 😊 thank you for the descriptions and where the dishes originate from. The food looks amazing as does the tea. Thank you for sharing ☺️
Production on that opening was beautiful. Very well done. One thing I think would be great is for Julia to have a little microphone. Sometimes when Matt is filming she can be hard to hear. Matt doesn't need a mic his voice projects perfectly.
You two are my kind of travelers! I love how you try the different foods and then describe it! Makes me so hungry I could jump through the screen! Julia, I’m going to try making laghman. Any suggestions on which country’s laghman you prefer?
Привет у нас много конфессий живут и Кыргызская кухня богатая лагман это уйгурская национальная блюда, качество продуктов хорошие у нас ценятся свеже приготовленные пищи а не консервацию и конечно человеческие ценности уважение друг другу❤
Food feast! The red soup with dumplings, and dill made noodles, looks very starchy. Interesting no cheeses. Thank you for the super interesting meals!!!
So glad you enjoyed it Lucy! Definitely very starchy! There is a lot of cheese in Central Asia but is more due to the Russian influence as opposed to their traditional cuisines 😊
@@MattandJulia i guess you are also in Mongol turf? Lots of basic meat and onions. I really liked the video of a food resume! Take care, delightful beings.
Loved this vid. Great selection of different dishes. I liked the soups these looked very yummy. Cheburek and blov too. Actually will probably try them all minus the horse meat. Love the bloopers. Safe travels ❤
You guys doing an awesome job with the food choices .how do you know what to order ? Do you research a bit before you order ? Before you go to the restaurant ? Stay safe please ❤️
Hi guys👋 We're really enjoying to see your channel!! Love the way you describe all your journey and delicious food they have!! 👏👏👏👍💖 Every time we're watching you eating theirs food,, we want run to one of our Uzbeki restaurant and order the same dishes😁 I am originally born in Tashkent, but when I been a child, my family 👪 immigrated to Israel at 1979 during the Soviet Union time. Since then, I never had a chance to go back and visit my city. Me & my daughter love to travel as well! I wrote you before, we recently visited at Moscow, and now we're planning this year to go there. I think, the Uzbeki food is the best 👌!. My favorite dish it's a Plov and Manti and Chebureki and my daughter loves Lagman and Uzbeki Lepeoshki bread👍
I've been wanting to visit Kyrgyzstan, but it seems that nearly all the food is meat-based. so, as a vegetarian, I'll have to live on the pudding. It sounds quite yummy.
There are lots of salads but they are more 'side dishes' as opposed to entire meals in themselves. There are things like the pumpkin dumplings, but on the whole it is an incredibly meat heavy cuisine :)
Hi, I have been watching all this food and think I have put on 2 stone or about 14 kg. Got to start walking to work it all off, all I had was 2 ginger nut biscuits 😭. Take care all our best wishes 👍👍🥂
By the way guyz. Kyrgystan, Azerbaijani Turkmenistan, Usbekistan etc. are all turkic people. So the cuisine is the same. It all belongs to one turkish cuisine. ;)
Kazakhs are also Turkic 😊 The cuisine of all Turkic people is amazing and incredibly varied, some similarities, like the Kebabs (Shashlik) but also many differences, like the Manti in Central Asia, that are the size of a hand, whereas the Turkish Manti which are very small and eaten with a tomato sauce 😍 All of these dishes have one big thing in common though, they are incredible!! 😍❤️
Turkish food is more Middle Eastern and Mediterranean, ours is Asian ( Chinese influenced) and potatoes , nomadic noodles - dumplings - breads , soups and a lot of meat
You are so charming the two of you, personality, 10 puntos, originality 10 puntos,,, locations,, 10 puntos.Food choices 10 puntos!!!! Felicitaciones!!!!!
You guys need to invest in a better way to mix your voices, or start doing voice overs? So hard to understand and hear you. Video is great tho. Sorry. Don't mean to be critical. I love your videos. Love you both. How did u meet? I'm new. From the high desert of California. In Living ghost/gold mining town from 1880s I have big interest in Russian living and cuisines. I'm a retired Chef but am loving your treks. I realize your filming can be limited to areas as some are very secluded and not all have high tech,...if any? I Do get that. Are you married or? Beautiful colors. I just made Borscht first time because of you guys. Wow! Its involved. So very involved!!!! Its just NOT a dish you whip up. It's got color, love, emmotion!!! Horse meat? How is that really? What does it compare to? Liver? Sirloin? Tougher? London Broil? Venison? Elk? RABBIT? rat? Lol kidding.
Thank you for the advice 😊 We will in future for sure, at the moment a new mic is too big of an expense for us, but we will get there eventually 🙏🏻 We met in Turkey on seperate holidays 8 years ago, and yes we are married 😊 So glad you enjoyed Borscht!!! ❤️❤️❤️
