LVMH's got a strong track record of innovation, I'm betting on their future growth, I just need a financial advisor to help me keep track of my portfolio
No insider buying? Arnault has been buying back millions almost continuously! Very heavily q4 23 and q1 24. Can you please verify and if so correct this?
Currently down to 619 on the Euro exchange. Lvmuy in the US is at $137, down from around $200. I am going to initiate a small position now and then buy more if the price drops further. I don’t plan to wait for the super low prices mentioned in this video, as I don’t expect to see the stock drop to those levels.
To get from your growth estimations to your price goals, which price return do you demand? You take 10%? Maybe also do an inverse DCF to see with which price returns people or happy or with which growth estimations people are working.
30% MOS is quite a lot for such an exceptional company. P/E and EV/EBIT are also relatively low compared to the last 5 years and the luxury business is still doing pretty well in recessions as most of the customers are very wealthy compared to others. If I calculated correctly the P/E for your bull case scenario is between 11 and 12 and I think that could only happen in the case of a severe geopolitical crisis including China, it was around 20 during COVID….. I will watch developments around potential punitive tariffs in China and I‘m a buyer should the stock price drop in response to this.
I agree that recessions harms discretionary spending, but one thing to remember is that recessions don't affect the wealthy the same way they do ordinary people.
