Some absolutely amazing charity shop finds there wow, that d&d boxset looked really nice especially for the price. Ninety nine nights 2 is also a great game to pick up especially for that price, and nice standee 👌. Great video as always 👍 😊
Thanks! Not had a streak like that in some time so was a nice change of pace to get such a haul. Already own ninety nine nights 2 but couldn't leave it at that price 😅 thanks for watching 😁
I don't really do much hunting in charity shops, is haggling a usual thing to do? Just never struck me as something to do is all, since the money's going to charity (at least on the surface anyway)! Would love to get your insight on this, nice video!
I'll always haggle given the opportunity, typically I'll only take stuff up to the till if I will buy it anyways or if I'm bundling stuff together. If a price is fair I'll pay the asking price but if it's closer to it's going rate I'm going to haggle as most of the time it is for my collection or trades to reinvest into the collection. Not many places you can knock off a few quid and most charity shops are usually willing to work with you on price based on condition and of you buy lots. The way I see it is you don't get if you don't ask! 😂 Plus with places like Cex and Game, you can't get anything off them due to them having systems/processes in place for pricing. So make the most of it! Good question and always one I enjoy answering! Thanks for watching 😁
These shops were in Berwick upon Tweed so much further up north! Usually when I've been there's not been a lot but my luck changed this time around. Thanks for watching 😁
@antmartagg2866 I'd say as long as they're not in the city centre there's usually stuff to be found. Very rare I find much in the heart of the cities I've been to like Birmingham, Manchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow or London. But on the outskirts or smaller towns (Berwick upon Tweed, Ashton) that I've been too have always had solid finds
