I am a Mom who is a receipent of the Angel Tree Christmas gifts from the Salvation Army. Just wanna say thank you. People like you have made my daughter all smiles on Christmas.
My mom just told me that when I was younger, the Salvation Army giving programs is how we got gifts most years. Thanks for making a video about it, now maybe more people will go out and help families in need.
It makes me sad that items on some of the cards were basic things like a hoody, a pillow, diapers. It has been a tough year but I am so grateful to have all of the basics for my family. Thank you for making me aware of this. Going to see if I can find an angel tree so that I can give back and also my family.
The fact that shes spending her money on other poeple that she doesn’t know but loves to help others and teaching her daughter to think about others and not only herself thats just a amazing mom god bless them 🥲😊
Not me crying this whole video 😭💕 this video makes my heart so full that you can literally help those who can’t help themselves especially around this time of year! 🧣🎄
i love seeing you show us how you teach ziya important values like humility and kindness. ziya was so selfless and so giving. she’s being raised so well and i love that.
no they just don't understand and fully get it since the are not living it and they don't know any better than what they have but the'yre not egocentric it's really a developmental thing like you said
Zya is so stinking cute and responsible!!! I love how at such a young age she understands that other kids don’t get presents and they need help!! Love y’all!! ❤️
I love how you are telling Ziya it's not only about her but other people too, more parents need to do that when they are at a young age. You raising her right. Always fire contents, stay safe out there and enjoy yourself also your friends and family,I love you so much!!! #raybabyray ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Raven is such a good mom! It’s so important to teach kids about giving back! The more she learns the more she shares with other children her age. And i love it! 👏🏾👏🏾 Your doing an amazing job Raven!
Thank you Raven! I'm a long-time Salvation Army employee and my respect for the work our team does to care for others grows every year. We could not do the work we do without generous souls like you. This is a special time of year after months of difficulty for many so thank you for this helpful, inspiring and thoughtful video. We're so grateful for you and your family!
Thank you so much for giving back to The Salvation Army. I grew up with the organization and my brother was a pastor for them for years. My father still volunteers with the bell ringers in his city. Again, thank you, it makes so many families and children happy! 🎄
There are so many families that DEPEND on Angel Tree and Toys for Toys for their kids to have a Christmas. Thank you so much for everything you gave! I know first hand that those gifts will brings so many smiles Christmas morning!
This is the SWEETEST thing EVER, I teared up to see Ziya putting the toys in the box, understating the concept you taught her about GIVING...Great Job Mom👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🥰 Wished I was fortunate enough to do this🙏🏽
I love what she did am only 13 and me seeing what she has done is me wishing I was back in the States with my Parents that I would really wish for Christmas right now.
This was so cute seeing Ziya walk around hunting for the gifts. Such a lovely idea teaching her to think of others who may not have a lot. One of my friends had her kids get either experiences for themselves or give to charity for Christmas. They would excitedly help out at shelters and charity events. She got them to believe that giving was just as good as, if not better than receiving. Thanks for sharing this. Ziya did so well!
This literally brought tears to my eyes when ziya understood what she was going to do. I have an 8 year old son and a 4 year old daughter that I teach these values I just got so emotional.
This is truly what Christmas is about...the gift of giving❣️Giving to others who are less fortunate. 🤍🙏🏼😌🎄 Ziya did so well with learning to give to others ❣️🥰
Ziya is maturing so well. Your pep talks and the way you frame things definitely has helped her a lot. A big difference from years past. She's developing a giving heart thanks to a mom who leads by example. Keep it up Raven!
This really make me smile. I love how thoughtful Raven is. She’s sharing her wealth with the less fortunate and teaching Ziya to do the same thing. We love to see it
This was absolutely beautiful. Thank you Raven for showing the importance of giving to Ziya, but more importantly thank you for having the genuine heart in the first place to want to bless others!!! Ziya did a great job!
Just the fact that ziya wouldn’t have pulled this off so easily last year it’s so sweet to see her growing up and understanding new things. Growing up so fast!
I love how you and your family give back to children, kids and single parents and how you are teaching Zyia to give back as well. Great job Raven and Zyia❤️.
That is so sweet I didn't see that tree in the Walmart in my area but I will look and inquire about it. God bless you and your family for having a heart of giving ❤️
Ppl like u just give me hope that there are good people in the world , and it’s so important to teach our children those values. I think because Ziya is old enough to understand this time it almost bought tears to my eyes
You are raising a very thoughtful and mindful child. I wish more parents did the same. It's not enough to explain the concept of giving, I believe they get it when it's demonstrated and put into action. Ziya handled it like a champ!
God bless whoever is reading this and i pray that you turn to the Lord before his return and please seek the Lord so you can be in forever be in happiness you dont have to suffer because the Lord already did so for you as long as you follow him, God bless you and Jesus has a plan for you keep your head up 😃❤🙏
Raven it is such a wonderful thing that you, chef Toni, and Ziya are doing for the kids in diverse communities that are less fortunate this holiday season. Truly you all are earth angels for many a families this Christmas. May God continue to keep, bless and prosper you all.
@@tamiw6752 well I’m pretty sure the parent of the child wrote that. So I was just confused as to why the race of a TOY was so important that they just HAD to write it🤷🏽♀️ It’s one thing if the parent was buying the toy for their own child but to make the race of a CHILDS TOY a factor when asking a STRANGER to gift their child was just a little weird to me... that’s all 😊
Well, if the child is Hispanic, it’s important for them to have a doll that looks like them. If the child wasn’t Hispanic, it’s also good for kids to have all different types of dolls too so 🤷🏾♀️.
Ziya, you and mama did a very special and kind thing today. I’m so proud of you, young lady! When I was a single mama, something very similar to Angel tree, made Christmas possible for my son. I was so overwhelmed and at first i didn’t want to accept, I felt there were other children who deserved it more. I’m an idiot! We had a tiny 3 room bungalow (not a cute one) and my sponsor made me see things differently. That year through this program I was able to receive learning toys for my son and a toy. Thank you so much Ziya and Raven. Your giving will help so many children. God bless. 💕💕🌸
