Hey Supa, the patch notes don't state that Thistle Tea becomes a passive ability, they just state that it activates when the energy falls below 50 but doesn't mean that you can't use it on demand at let's say 200. Looks like a UX improvement, same as Cut To The Chase.
@@andredoppelfeld4205 yeah, might be ruined if it activates every time not including the mastery buff, as the durations of 3 stacks will overlap each other =( maybe if we whine enough on the forums they will fix it, dunno, but need to see the implementation itself first.
Yeah get excited for the fluff just like they want you to be. Masking the fact that in terms of function the spec is dead as yesterday. Primordial Wave talent at 1 point giving you 3 stacks. Literally pointless.

Yeah Fire is still in the gutter, idk what to think about Arcane changes 😢😢 maybe it's fine but it doesn't feel good to loose double dipping when it feels so rewarding and interesting
I haven't seen Pika's reaction to this, but to me it looks like the big hit in these notes is the very casually mentioned removed Talent "Invigorating Shadowdust" (30 sec cd reduction on EVERYTHING on vanish (With up to 2 charges on Vanish)), which allowed you to have a really high pace of gameplay with the major burst being on a 30-45 sec cd. With this you could essentially do your full burst 3x in 30 seconds.
Enhancement - The Ice Strike change is good to reduce bloat, but it's almost a nerf to frost shock... because if it procs and I'm getting kited... I now can't press frost shock, because it's now Ice Strike and Ice Strike has melee range. So what happens now? My Earthgrab Totem is on CD and I don't have a way to apply my gap closer. Seems awkward, I feel like I now have to keybind a cancelaura Ice Strike macro and I'm back to having the same amount of buttons on my bars.
Yeah dude I don't think we see a nerf, we are mid in the pack hidden, we are like 2000 ww mains in the world so we don't shake the hive that much. Im in ABSOLUTE love with the Class and the gameplay is just textually perfect. Hope they manage to do a rework to brewmaster and healer ASAP.
@@henrylawsky7172 literally. people don't understand the careful aim modifier of aimed shot at all, and that's actually what needs to be paid attention to. Remove it IMO (the careful aim modifier that grants 30% bonus dmg on targets above 70% health) and buff aimed shot by 15% so it doesn't hit for 500k non crit when you're at 65% hp. Feels great or like dog shit ilke this.
@@drock3332 Yes it does sound good. Ur only kill windows were during Trueshot, that's the only time u ever got to spam RF and AS enough for the nerf to matter. Now we have so much more passive damage and a faster offload on our procs, we can actually deal sustained damage and hopefully win a game outside of Trueshot for once.
Maan the removal of invigorating shadowdust is insane 😂 sub with no shadow dance is useless and this was one of our biggest ways to get dance charge back, plus counter the kidney shot nerf along with other benefits...we will need something for faster dance recharge asap if they want this spec to be viable at all

I was having so much fun with assasination rogue until the "Echoing Reprimand" talent came around. who the fuck wants to deal with that in a pvp situation.
I will go out of my way to avoid picking it even if it means a loss in output. No class flavor, unbelievably clunky to use, and terrible in a pvp setting.
They are huge buffs for frost . Painful death being baseline is fire , we get more single target dmg and we can potentially stack mark way faster due to talons (since the other node is shit) So don t worry , we gucci
@@jul734 Glasses seem to fix that problem. Jokes aside there are almost 3-4 a week lately. But if you play later in the day you likely have avoided it.
I think feral needs a bit of love for energy sustain and a bit more ST / AoE damage. A passive that helps energy regen based on crit bleed procs on your target / targets? Maybe a new passive if you rake and rip a target it makes a blood clot on the target. If you bite the target it burst doing AoE damage based on the bleed applied. Does higher damage within 5 - 10 targets but diminishes? I dont know, there should be some synergy with the bleeds.. it feels bad just waiting around for energy to come back up when tiger fury is down.
Great changes for barrier to entry on alot of the classes. Especially rogue. I'm kinda confused why they didn't give feral the same treatment....I've said this for years, but having a 7 button rotation isn't a deciding factor for "fun". A dh had 3 button rotation and you could have the same amount of fun. Or a pallys 6-9 macro rotation etc. Good to see if they hold to the concept of making classes better to play with less micromanaging.
Just tested ele shaman, with all greens. I pulled about 8 million dmg in under 8 seconds. Ascendance 150% overload damage is super underrated and just melts
My favourite specs to play were both Ele Shaman and Boomy from 5.4 MoP as they were so so fun! Wish they'd go back to both of those where lava burst and starsurge were way more meaningful by dealing a good amount of damage and were instant casts from procs when dots crit :( Hunter changes look insane so I'm may have to level mine up!
Bro Hunter is looking nuts. It's weird because I felt it was in such a good spot already and good MM Hunters that have proper rotation in pvp were doing really well. Now its just way easier to deal damage, and it's a bit suspicious that they're pushing us into using steady shot, but that certainly feels like what they're doing here. They merged killshot and blackarrow to reduce button bloat, but made steady shot button u actually press so we're back to where we were xD
What are you talking about, dude? Of course you use steady shot in PVP. Rarely, true, but you do use it and you do have to have it on the actionbar for those situations where you're out of focus but you're not being pressured and so you just stand there twiddling your thumbs instead of shooting.
there adding the purge protection talents to the regular tree to counteract (mainly) dragons - if they add them as pvp talents then they become a mandatory talent when playing against mage dragon etc. this way is better
Why did he skip the Sub rogue nerf? 33:15 lol. Everyone gonna play Sin. More dmg and more kill. Sub only kill noob atm. Forbearance reduced by 10s. Dont even think about dueling Ret anymore.
Awesome recap and I'm really excited about the changes. I think blizzard is doing a better job then they have in the past as far as listening to feedback. (Obviously won't always be perfect).
The main point is reworks weren’t with an xpac launch like they should have been 😂 Gotta do them halfway through a season just like they said at gamescom they would not do 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Ret is definitely back baby paladin in general it's been my main complaint not enough changes in paladin tree so many was dead and wings need to do more damage and forbearance needs a reduction and God has answered RET POWER!
Arcane Mage here and let me sum the changes up real quick for you. I WAS an Arcane Mage. Honestly I'll likely be swapping mains before raid even launches, fire is still in an abysmal state, frost is meh, and the wild swinging changes to arcane that take away depth and fun make me not want to touch it at all.

MM hunter is one of the most button bloated specs in the game, not as much rotationally as it is utility-wise, which is not a big deal in PVE but in PVP, where you need EVERYTHING in the spellbook PLUS the active PVP talents like Chimera Sting, it's very annoying and overwhelming given WoW's fast paced PVP combat and its aging playerbase of 35+ years old players, cause we all know that new and younger players are not coming into the game, WoW is just running on veteran juice and has been for years, and these guys are getting old and cba anymore with complicated rotations and watching 2 or 3 debuffs and buffs. So I greatly appreciate any button pruning and simplification whatsoever. Now if only Blizzard did something to prune some crap from unholy dk and feral druid, it would be gucci.
Sadly, outlaw doesn’t have have shadowdance anymore and we are now losing shadowstep. I love the grappling hook change though and with the fatebound talent, it’s essentially giving us 4 hooks? The crackshot change is pretty decent as it means we can intentionally fire one additional between the eyes to put it on cooldown knowing our next vanish or restealth (that our 4 hooks hopefully can help with) will reset it. This also adds more value to shadowmeld + stealth.
Yeah, it fails to have it’s own niche and with crackshot, becomes an inferior version of sub. Sub’s talent tree is amazing, even without invigorating shadowdust. Also, it’s a ramp spec that requires you to be in combat but has strange talents like dagger in the dark that requires you to be in stealth to maximize it’s damage buff while losing stacks of enduring brawler. It’s a contradictory non synergistic build.
Survival changes are completely unacceptable. If these go live, I'm just done playing. They're wanting to move a lot of our damage out of bombs and move it into the more mediocre abilities.

i understand the excitement for a lot of underperforming classes but this amount of class changes and reworks in the middle of a season is sooooo sloppy imo…. they should’ve just waited till 11.1 or done these at the launch of the expansion. we are already learning how all these classes work with hero talents and now we’ll have to relearn everything in a few months. 🥴
I went all in on my frost dk so if they keep messing with it I’ll just unsub again , I don’t know if these changes are better or worse yet but everytime I see dk on the list I get that feeling to step one step closer to bouncing 😂
