i actually really like the toddler room! the way i see it is everyone’s room maybe started out pretty similar and plain, and as they grew up they were able to design it the way they like. but i think that it suits the house!!
This house is perfect for the blended family I've been playing! A mother and daughter decided to move to Copperdale after the death of her husband, and the mother's rocker nephew went with them. After they started to get settled, the mother decided that she was ready to get back into the dating world and gets together with a single dad that has a son. They haven't gotten married yet, but I'm loving their story.
Dawn, this house is stunning!!The floorplan is mind blowing, also color scheme !🤯I can't say enough how amazing it is! I really enjoyed watching this! 💛🧡🤎
I really like the black and white toddler room, I do agree that it needs more color, but it was an interesting concept!! I love black and white interiors. I feel like it looks so clean!!
You are correct! You cannot play with the principal and her still have that career. Kinda stinks. I love this house though. Beautiful as always! I would love a toddler kit for bedrooms/nursery. We are lacking bedroom stuff for them
I saw Jessicapie use the debug bags of fertilizer (I think that is what it is) for pillows on the couch and I thought that was genius! I wish we had more realistic, every day, suburbanish couches. The breakfast nook is my favorite part in this whole build!
I love this build!! I love how it's both modern and traditional, if that makes sense. It definitely represents the story you had for the owners, good job!
This might be my favorite build you've done so far! Would you ever consider making big celebrity mansions in Del Sol Valley? The kind that has its own spa, gym, dance floor, etc? I think it'd get a lot of attention given your shell/floorplan style and attention to detail!
Rudbeckia! Or simply - black eye susans. I love those flowers. They're my favourite flower in the sims now too. :D I grew them for the first time in my garden this year and I want a whole hedge of them now. :)
The stove and oven are still functional when you place them in one counter, but personally I've found that it can cause the finished meals and the stove to clip. When Sims take their meal out of the oven, they'd usually put it on a free nearby counter, but my sims often put it on the stove instead
I love this house!! Craftsman is my absolute favorite style 😍 I would love to see you build a one story, suburban, family home (parents and maybe 2 or 3 kids). Something much smaller and manageable/easy to play in. Am I the only one that doesn’t like paying in two story homes? Something about toddlers and stairs is just 🙃
This is an amazing build Dawn! You definitely never fail to impress us with your builds! I’ve also seen some builders use the pillow from the “pillow fight” interaction. I believe it’s in the High School pack debug. It’s just a plain white swatch and might be useful for decorating~
Could you build a wealthy family’s private vacation house? This could be functional by setting it as a retail lot and hiding a register then getting your sims to purchase it and travel there whenever they want! Btw I got the idea from Jessicapie🙂🙂 I Love all your builds!!!!!
I agree that the shadows are very strong in Copperdale, but I think that you’re shader has made shadows much stronger in all of your videos of the last few months. I love this house! It is very American - I am very American… LOL. I always appreciate having a large home for my Sims legacies and you rock the family homes 😃👍🏻💜
I had this idea for my own game, but I feel like you would be able to create it! I had the idea for a drag queen's apartment or maybe like a loft! I imagine lots of color and make up clutter :)
I have a bench seat in my bathroom! The top of it flips up and it’s my laundry hamper. I also put my clean clothes on top of it while I shower and sit on it when I put on lotion and when I paint my toenails.
I think the white toddler room would fit in nicely in a really modern build. It does feel a little stark compared to the other rooms in this house. This is such a pretty build! btw, I'm also finding myself having problems building in coperdale because of the shadows, they're just so intense!
I love the toddler room actually, it’s not like any I’ve seen before. The objects in the room added a lot of the fun you’re looking for into it. Perhaps it could’ve used a little more bright accent colors, but I think it worked really well!
When I first saw you actually using the Super Subtle Saucer Lights in a previous build, I was hopeful that you had finally been converted. Now I see you using the regular ones and downsizing them! You really know how to make me laugh 😂😂
the personalities of the two teens you described made me think of the sisters in 10 things I hate about you! maybe now I need to make them to live in this build 😆
I love love your builds! I've always had the same question when I see your builds... do you go in with a plan in your mind, with the way you want it to look and a drawn layout? Or do you just have an idea of a huge family home and just go from there? I love building but have the hardest time getting creative so I am always using ideas of houses that I see but then feel like it limits me and I lose my creative side. Also, amazing job as always!
I think the toddler room is really unique. There have actually been a lot of studies that say that the colors back, white (and red) are supposed to be really good for tiny human brains. The contrast in the colors aids in their visual development.
I doubt you’ll answer but I’ve always wondered, do you make these houses up as you go along or do you draw out a sketch or something first? I know sometimes creators find pictures online and stuff but I’m just curious what you do cause I love your builds so much and I aspire to build as well as you do
while i do enjoy watching builders doing big houses with 2 floors. most of the times i prefer 1 floor and pratical. from the gallery or if i build (which sadly i only have hand for modern houses. suburban or familiar, are so dificult for me). Sims cam gives me... struggle with 2 floors! aahahahah
I think the shadows are good because they make it seem a little bit more realistic but I think they should have an option in settings to reduce or turn off the shadows
I absolutely love this build. But I’m sad I can’t download it for some reason. It’s not showing up on your profile on the gallery in my game. Hopefully I can get it soon, I need it. ❤
Beautiful Home ... Also you are right you cannot play as the principle and that would be great gameplay but as its Sims 4 its just aesthetics and very limited gameplay. Its all looks Imho
Don't be so sad about the toddler room! I have a couple of ideas that would go well with the room. 1, toddlers are curious about things. Maybe they aren't sure what their favorite color is and want a 'plain' look while they think about it? 2, maybe the toddler could be colorblind? Maybe they think everything that's white is actually a bunch of colors? It's normal to think that, and definitely at their young age! Maybe they think, I don't know, their bed is a light purple and their parents don't have the heart to tell them that's not right? It's a cute idea. 3, maybe the toddler just LOVES the color white? Sure, that can always change, but maybe they think, at the moment, white is the best color. Maybe it makes them feel safe and calm?
@simLicy lovely house girl.., as usual 👍. I think you should build a family fun center ( ie something like Chuck E. Cheese) on your next build. 👍 💯 😊 😎.
whenever I try to place the seperate stove and oven from DHD on one counter, unfortunately it never works for me, but you might have to check in your game
Lol I have a big house in copperdale that I built for my 7 sims that had twins twice and just had their last kid(I hope) they have two teens two kids and a toddler and their parents work in the business and diver career I will defo be downloading this
Could you try a gym rat gamer? I’m on gym tok and everyone’s into anime and game but are so ripped! I don’t think I’ve seen a build mixing the two careers/hobbies
I don’t know if you answered that type of question but what codes do you use? Because I saw some things that aren’t in my game and I have wondered what are you doing to have them in game?❤
hmm, ah!. for the toddler room maybe said toddler likes more cold weather and snowy environments (hence white its like snowy weather) since ther family vacations alot maybe they went to the snowy mountain place (forgot the world name) and that stemed the toddlers love for nore snowy environments and it'll lead to their parents to decorate the toddlers room like that and the toddler as ut continues to groe older will fall in love with snowy environments more and moe continuing to decorate their room as such until in the future when their and adult they will move to the snowy mountain world
