As someone who just made a craft station and then went to look for it and gave up after 20 minutes I sure could use a search bar. 🤣

The rocky terrain floor tile… i always have to scroll scroll scroll… I think the tags are messed up because it doesn’t appear in any menu (as far as I can tell) except “ALL”. I don’t use it very much for that reason.

I'm going to cry. I'm SOOO happy for these updates! Especially easily changing paths/fences. Honestly, all of it will make things so much easier. Now if only the Switch would allow us the ability to decorate more than their low specs.

I want a filter or toggle where your newest items show up on the top, not the bottom! We have to scroll all the way to the bottom and for those of us who use controllers it is very inconvenient. I also want a toggle for rain bc I have lost count how many times rain has interrupted my dreamsnap! Anyways, these updates are still nice those are just my most wanted

OMG YEEEESSS i dont understand why new items show in the bottom, n it takes soooooooooo long to scroll down on switch, like 2 mins scrolling to get to the bottom

I like the improvements they mentioned, I was really hoping we would be able to place items at an angle or center items better. In the post it says "here are SOME of the improvements" maybe there are a few more that they aren't sharing?! I guess we will see when patch notes come out.

Helpful yes BUT Not for people who hit the 600 limit!!! Get rid of that and original players will come back

I’m right at the 600 unique item limit on the switch but with some strategy and creativity I still managed to decorate my whole valley. I utilized a bunch of bigger items AND duplicate items to get a full valley. (For example rather than using all the different colors of lifeguard chairs on my beach I just picked one color for the entire beach so while I have multiple chairs, it only counts against the 600 one time. It still counts against my total over all 3,000 item limit multiple times but not my 600. That said the lower limit on certain consoles isn’t because Gameloft is trying to limit players it’s because consoles like the switch can’t handle the increased limit like PCs and other consoles can.

It isnt only switch either, ps4 cant either. I wish they could find a way for switch but if it lags and crashes we wouldnt like it either

So far looks so cool, BUT for switch players…..we only get the limit of 3,000 items to work with not 6,000. It isn’t fair because with every update, new furniture and options are introduced and we cannot decorate properly an area without compromising another. This also happens in Dream Snaps where you’d build for a furniture task and then to take it down. So the only thing we have forward to is that we get cool new items and can only work with a limited amount because of our console situation. It is so UNFAIR to see beautiful layouts and we can’t build like that for every biome, thematically speaking. 😞

We dont always need to. I like leaving stuff natural. I would like the limit to change but we dont want it to crash constantly either

I think it'd have been better to have done the Mulan update around Lunar New Year. Especially with all the Chinese-themed items they'll be adding.

I feel like there are things much higher up on the quality of life improvements list lol… like tbh I haven’t really seen anyone complain about fast changing the pathing/fencing that they’ve implemented. When it comes to paths/fencing I feel like curvatures have been sought for more but maybe one day! Excited for this update for sure!! ✨

@Serroh What would you think of a new catagory for our favorite furnitures and clothes? For my who hasn't every Item name in mind, Ivwould even prefer that then search bar. Let's be honest: WE all have our favorite furnitures, don't WE? :)

Those improvements are gonna be amazing if I’m decorating my valley. No more of placing in item and the selecting it again, no more removing the entire fence and building another one and no more scrolling through different menus to find a specific item for a specific room.

A shame they can't just give what is requested, instead of a weak variant. We asked for a search filter, and they give us this. We asked for a simple way to cook multiple meals, and they gave us ancient cookers instead. Same pattern over and over.

The path swapping is a good call. For me, changing paths is what really elevates a biome, especially when you're swapping designs. But the majority of the time, repathing is what deters me from changing things up too much. Now, that's no longer an issue!

Am I alone in saying that I hate the whole follow the theme or else you get hate? Like if I like the dream snap I like it if not I dont. Like yes obviously follow the theme but I’m not nitpicking like so many dreamlight creators on RU-vid. Maybe it’s because I joined the community later but I find it so strange.

I STILL wish we could have 360 turning or free place when it comes to items to make the valleys that much more unique and lived in looking, but I don't think we'll get that anytime soon so amma take what I can get!

I just started Dreamlight Valley again after being away for 2 years.. and I was trying to do some decorating and couldn't believe there is still no search bar! Glad to see the improvements they have done though!

I ❤ these updates! I haven’t been decorating lately. It just has been too time consuming and I am in the middle of packing for a big move to another state.
