It's finally time to do an eyeshadow palette declutter! I've been wanting to do this for a while and it feels so good! I do my best to donate the palettes I am getting rid of since most of them are gently used :)

There are palettes I haven’t used in 10 yrs. but when it’s time to declutter and I pop that lid open and see all the pretty colors, I just can’t get rid of it….

I just purchased over 2 grand in palettes over a year and a half and I definitely cannot part with ANY of them!! I love my Mikayla palettes because they Always come with a Theme and they are just too Gorgeous to part with!!! Btw......I love your videos Angela!! I even bought a Dior with I think 2 colors of blue.....and Splurged over $50 on it!! Idk why but I just had to have it and I've Never used it. I think I am addicted to makeup now! The thing is I'm 60 years old and I'll probably die of old age and Never use half of it! I wish they had so many makeup looks when I was young........😥 Just out of curiosity, what do you do with the palettes that you declutter? I love Huda and have alot of their palettes!!! Another Fave is Natasha Denona!! Amazing 👏 I Really want the Naughty palette by Huda!!!

Save your $$ on the ABH Rose Metals. I have slightly hooded eyes like yours and the soft metallic shades completely disappeared out of my crease where the eyelid folds up with eyes open. If you don’t have that problem, then the palette is fine…wasn’t as exciting as I thought it would be. I returned it.

How long is it safe to keep eyeshadow 🤔? What's the shelf life? And can a skin infection happen from bacteria growth on too of shadows?

I threw away most of my makeup a few months ago and I only got 1 new palette and 3 mini ones. That's it. I just wanted to try and use them up and get my money's worth. In the past I've lost money by buying expensive eyeshadow palettes and never using all the colors! It's like these companies swindle us!

I like watching these just so i can see the colors in these pallets. However, I find the wast and mass expense of these videos just outrageous. They definitely set a bad example for sure. Don't by things when one dislikes them. Especially for reasons such as color combinations. I would think thats something someone would think about before buying 🤔. Anyways, I have over 150 pallets myself, plus single and the lot of makeup products. I'm not about to toss any of them away unless they are not powder products and have a bad smell to them.

I really enjoyed this video. Not because of the declutter, but because it rekindled my love for these palettes. I have a severe movement disorder and a severe sleep disorder, so I don't do my makeup anymore, but every time you kept a palette I own I smiled, which never happens. I love longer videos like these. it was showing us all the palettes you own and your mini reviews about them. They are all beautiful. I agree about the Tati palette, I will never get rid of it. and you're so lucky to own the Raw Beauty Kristy palettes, both At Forest Sight and the collab with Pur. I wasn't able to get those.

@@angelaabright I'm looking to get a high end (only ones I've gotten so far have been from sigma and 1 mini Natasha denona palette but I don't like the color theme so I don't use it) I like more neutral/ cooler browns and maroon/pinks/purples/greens(more navy army then bright) I do like my pops of shimmer but more matte shades, so out of all that (sorry alot ik) what would you recommend? Or even a certain brand type you could think of?

I’ll probably never declutter my eyeshadows palettes. I have about 30 or 40, quite a bit, but this summer I got rid of my ND Glam palette. It’s mainly the only palette I’ve decluttered in my life, and I have 3€ palettes but OMG, what a relieve. I hate ND formula and never will buy another palette of her, don’t mind how stunning colours it could have 😅

How and where do you store all of your palettes? I have recently gotten back into doing my eye makeup (your half-cut crease video is what did it for me!), and I have been buying palettes like crazy, but don't have a good place to store them! Any suggestions????

I have an IKEA storage thing that has cupboards at the bottom so I store my palettes in them kinda like books so I can see the names on the side. I USED to have a old bookshelf that I put them all on like books and it looked really cool!

Honestly if they are stored in a proper space and she uses clean brushes and dont let every tom dick and harry put their grubby lil dirty fingers in them I think she will be fine... I have seen my aunt use the same eyeshadow palette for years like 1990s-2018 and she was fine.. when I gifted her some brand new makeup .... As long as you aint storing it in the bathroom or ina moisture rich environment and you're using clean brushes and have clean face and hands and makeup sanitizer it should be ok ...
