This footage was taken the next day (6/5/2024).
I incorporated some "lessons learned: from my previous day of splitting, but there is no way around it, these big knotty-rounds are hard work!

I enjoy working with the hack, they grow straight and tall here in iowa. I prefer to deal with them when it's cold tho, seems like they split better. Cut them green, split it frozen. I especially admire the smell

@tyharland1906 Thanks for the feedback! I'm behind on publishing, this was back in early June. I'll show in coming videos, I am splitting all that to clear a space for rearranging my woodyard setup

@thehogslogs8631 yessir!! Good way to work up a sweat and get some exercise!. Even with struggling still easier than swinging a maul at all this!
