Though Bridgerton shows stereotypical women of the era, it also represents women of strength and independence and the bee is a symbol to remind the audience that, quietly, women hold the true power in society.
I just finished watching the show. I only started watching because of this Bath & Body Works collaboration.😂 I will say that the show is kind of slow to start, but it is really good. I started with Queen Charlotte first, because I had tried to watch Bridgerton before, and I couldn’t get into it. But if you do watch that one, oh my goodness, queen Charlotte will definitely bring you to tears at the end. Beautiful haul! Thanks for sharing.❤❤❤❤
Everyone in my family asks why I don’t work at BBW! Girl this is why! I’d be buying EVERYTHING! Nope not working my A$S off all week to turn around n give them my paycheck! Nope! Excited for Bridgerton Study.
I bought the chandelier and the mirrored tray absolutely love 💝 the chandelier just with it had a sensor or a on and off button i ❤❤❤❤❤it all ty for sharing this video 💕💕💕💕
Great haul! I think the mirrored tray is gorgeous but I just could not think of what to use it for. Please let me know how you decided to use it. Thanks!
For now I put it in my hallways bathroom with a couple of minis that I want to finish. I might switch it out later. Maybe on the dresser for earrings or we will see.
I haven't been in the store lately to smell all of these and I need to go soon! I need to get a backup of Iced lemon poundcake mist and candle too. The teapot pocktbac holder is so cute 😍
bee symbol: the bee seems to symbolize Edmund and how his death has significantly affected who Anthony is now. It's telling that the opening credits of the show include a beehive, for example.
Love your haul ! The Bee killed Edmund Bridgerton the father. He was picking flowers for his wife at the country home and a bee stuck him and he had a allergic reaction and died. Anthony Bridgerton , his son was with him I cried so hard . Yea thanks to BBW i binged the series and Queen Charlotte's series .😊
Love Bridgerton and would definitely recommend the series. I would start with the original series as they are the main characters and then Queen Charlotte which is also very good. Season 2 with Anthony and Kate was my favorite but they are all really good. A new season is starting soon with another Bridgerton sibling so looking forward it. The bee represents the family, it’s also what killed the father and was connected to Anthony and Kate’s story.
What a amazing and beautiful haul! Queen Charlotte's Tea is my fave. I was in the store yesterday checking out the whole line. Love that Tiffany Blue color too. Happy Easter!🐣 🐰 🐇
bee symbol #2: Though Regency England was most definitely a patriarchal society, the London town is ruled by two women: Queen Charlotte and the gossipmonger Lady Whistledown. It's fitting, then, that Bridgerton has utilized the bee as a symbol of feminism throughout the show.
I went in the store today to smell everything new and my favorite was wisteria lane and the tea one, I missed the sales so I’ll wait for the next time.
OMG me too I get Fur from the blue one😢.I usually get that smell from fragrances that have ambroxn/ambergris/ amber. It like a slightly wet dog smell.🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
I got all the Diamond of the season body care. And the body cream is wonderful! I hope the other fragrances come out in bodycare. Do they ever expan a collection lie this?
@@Cynthiam106 I was hoping that a body care set would come out with each candle that came out but I guess I’m wrong. I really like the wisteria and the charlotte’s tea. Also my local store didn’t carry the 10 new fragrances that came out I’m going to have to go hunt for them. Such a bummer.
