Find time for Noah and I to go do a grocery shopping trip to restock our ice cream freezer. Our family just really really likes ice cream and my homemade cookies. We live where there is about eight months out of the year. We have snow on the ground and even when it’s cold, we still have our freezer full of ice cream. Now I do sometimes during the holiday convert my ice cream freezer to a butter and chocolate chip freezer because I do so much baking from about September to January.
Is kind of a cool idea because we have so many kids come over and they know exactly where the ice cream freezer is and we don’t mind them helping themselves because that’s why we buy it is not only for our family but for the people who come over and hang out with us. And it’s so funny because after I did the first restock, Izzy literally called her best friend and told her to come over so they could see our ice cream freezer and have treats. we were down to some popsicles, but we got these gelato popsicles to try so those were kind of an addition and they actually weren’t too bad. But as you can see all the ice cream was gone, and I made sure this haul not to buy more popsicles cause they just didn’t go as fast.
But I had to buy mochi a couple times because that is my husband’s treat that he eats at night after working all day he sits in his chair, has a drink, a snack and then a couple of his mochi. We introduce mochi to him when we were in Disney World and he is kind of obsessed with him. He loves him so much. I just wish we had more varieties where we live. We only have the passionfruit, mango, strawberry and cookies and cream. And I’ve heard there’s some some other flavors that are absolutely amazing so I hope that we’re gonna start to see those flavors.
