@@austin-ub6gb if you get them in the right size fit isn’t a problem, they perform well in matches and when I train so they do there job. I’ve had the speedflows and speedportals and in some aspects the speedportals better then the speedflows. Even compared to knit uppers I’ve had like Puma future and older Vapor’s, there ahead when it comes to pure responsiveness and lockdown, but that feel isn’t for everyone.
Love knitted boots too(Mercs, Phantom, ect)but you have to try these. I was amazed! Definitely a comfortable (true-to-size) speed boot that is head & shoulders above the last few AdidasX speed boots.
I’m glad we are coming back to synthetic uppers. Kanga-Lite, Teijin and HybridTouch are still my favorite football boot uppers, adidas speed boots have never gone full knit and I’m happy for that.
I’ve worn the Nike’s knitted speed boots for the past few years (Mercs/PhantomGX) but you have to try these. I was amazed! Finally a comfortable Adidas Speed boot that’s true-to-size. I wear an US8.5 & I couldn’t even get the Speedportal‘s on my feet. The build and feel is head & shoulders above the previous AdidasX’s(flow/portal), & on Parr if not better than other SpeedBoot alternatives.
Do u prefer these to Vapor 15s I’m considering buying either phantom gx low cut, Vapor 15s or adidas x crazy fast.1 either laced or laceless but I’m stuck between which to get
I wear the same size 8.5. Coming from adidas speedflow.1 i tried these the other day and i’ve got to say straight out the box they are the most perfect fitting boots all round to me atleast. I have mid wide feet and they fit just perfect. Love the feel aswel compared to the crazylight+. Yes the plus has the tongue but it was just tight to me.
hi I’m going to buy a new adidas crazyfast.1 and i’m thinking about fg of ag, playing on artificial grass right now, but after winter will play on firm grass. i’m used to play in fg cleats on artificial grass. and my question what the best option to me
yeh i find the toe box a bit weird like the ball hit it and it makes a poping sound, feel like the shoe not sticking to me feet 100 like in a phantom gx maybe you should go 1 size down idk maybe it will be better afther a few hours of use
@@tie2985 i like the gx it fits so good i also got flat feet 27,1cm long 10,2 wide ish feet , but it gives blizters on my big toe for some reason and it dosnt give that pingi feeling when shoting the ball and springback like a vapor or crazy fast gives you. now i have the crazy fast so lets see how it will works
If i had to go half a size down in the speedportal .1 do u think i need to do the same with these, is the adjusted fit good enough where i can manage true to size?
hi, I have a one question I’m going to buy a new adidas crazyfast.1 and I’m thinking about to buy one but idk which one ag or fg, right now I’m playing on artificial grass but after winter I will play on both on firm and artificial grass.( but all my team practices will be on firm grass we will have only one practice on artificial grass per week)I used to play in fg cleats on artificial grass, and I hadn’t any problems. is any different use fg on artificial grass than use ag, As i know in adidas crazyfast.1 fg and ag only difference is one mone stud. so my question is which which cleats should I pick?
Josh I'm trying to find a good replacement insole for my football boots. Not arch support like Superfeet or Currex, but a basic foam insole as these always wear out on me before the rest of the boot does. Suggestions? I'm searching, don't know what to try!
Does anyone have issues with a little space in the toebox that doesnt fit quite well? I’m wearing the crazyfast in my true size, most of the foot fit perfectly except for the little part in the toebox wear it is a little loose
Yep. I tried size 42 EU, but my heel didn't fit right in the boot. I went half a size up to 42⅔ and my feet definitely feel more locked in, but the toe box is too roomy for my taste. It seems like that's the way the boot is designed.
Hey Josh, quick question. Does your soccer cleat that you never wear fall apart after long period sitting on the shelf? I'm planning on stocking up on several pair of Speedportal
Not a very good explanation, but: The glue attaching the sole plate to the upper will "harden" if left alone for some time. The sole plate will break off if you wear them after that has happened, as the glue cannot flex with the rest of the boot anymore.
I got the usa colorways here in the states. I remember purchasing the 2010-11 f50s for around $200 or so. (My favorite boot) I don’t think these particular crazy fast are worth the $260. I luckily got them on sale for $104.+tax on clearance. I recommend them if you find a deal but don’t pay $200+ . I will mention I’d gladly pay $260 for some 2011 f50s
Hey, a totally different question about durability of boots on FG and AG pitches: With my current club I am training on (short, old and stamped) artificial field while playing my matches mostly on natural grass. I've had problems that the outsole comes a bit loose from the upper, where the artificial grass granules get in between deep and worsens the problems until it is unusable. I had this with my Predator 20.3 MG at the sides and Copa Sense.3 MG at the nose in the last years. Do you know how I can try to estimate the durability of the outsole for this kind of problems? The earlier mentioned models both featured a more middle high straight sole line while for example the Puma future Z 2.4 FG/AG feature a very curvy low line. In high end models there are more dedicated artificial grass boots instead of dual type, where for the Predator Acc.1 also the sole line is a bit higher (next to more conical studs etc.), but e.g. for the Nike Tiempos there is no difference. So do you have more tricks to determine his durability for .2/.3 boots or would you advise to go for a second pair of turf shoes but then the .3/.4 since I have not so much budget. For anyone finding the time to respond, thanks in advance!
Artificial grass is just hard on boots in general. Typically something with an AG specific soleplate and stud pattern will last longer, but how long exactly is impossible to predict.
