Still, the minimum development that is happening, is being done by the central government. See, Kolkata metro rail projects, Air Port development, NH-34 expansion, new bridge at Farakka, railway expansion, apart from various social program. Not only in WB, but the whole country is witnessing the overwhelming development these days. Indian economy, now has became much more strong than ever. So, your concern over unemployment is not sensible. Now, India excels in many fields and started ranking high. All these achievements are due to one honest man. That WB is falling behind is too due to dishonesty of one. Guess who are they.

Durgapur SAIL expansion in DPR phase. They received 'in-principle' approval earlier this month. The final approval will be by March 2024 after which construction is supposed to start.
