You can see some of the S.I.C. in the background of a couple of shots. I wasn't terribly interested in them at first, until I looked at some of the cinematic style photos in the SIC Collection books. Then I was sold. Now I own S.I.C versions of all of my favs! I'll do a separate video on them at some point down the line.

I find a couple of the new gen one's interesting... but most of it is way too busy and gaudy.

That's what some people refer to the Shin, ZO & J movies as - but they are all stand alone stories.

Ok so, I've uncovered a buried memory. I actually rented Zeiram on VHS when it was released in the USA as "Zeram" sometime around 1999. It was random rental when I was first getting into anime and Japanese cinema, that I watched late at night after work (as I did many titles at that time). It was one of those things that was "cool", but since I never revisited it, I had completely forgotten what I had witnessed. As of this week, through a couple conversations, I started to piece together that lost memory, and decided to buy the Japanese box set with both Zeiram films, thanks in part to your and one other viewer's comments! Seeing the film on bluray blew my mind. So many things I love about it, will definitely have to make a video soon and go into this story again and bring more attention to the film (and it's sequels / prequel). CHEERS!!
