Noah, because of you & snake discovery making videos about snakes, I am no longer afraid of them. Because of that, I was able to rescue a juvenile rat snake from being killed at my grandmothers house today.

In fact it's funny because when I was a little bitty kid, when anyone asked me what I wanted to be when I grow up, I would say a wildlife conservationalist!

Normally we may not touch European vipers here in Belgium. But this summer I saw one on the road and luckily I spotted her, get out off the car got my hook and putted her safe over the road where she was heading too. It's better to get them off a dangerous road even if it's not allowed to pick then up/hook them or whatever.. Still I saved her life (it was defenitly a female). Good thing I allways have a snakehook in the car.❤🐍

Does not having the tortoises eastern range under the endangered species act affect how its treated now where developers are wanting to build? Is there any other negatives. Other than higher numbers are there any pros.

Noah was hat king snake was awesome! I loved the thin bands and how big and chill he was. This was a great video (aren’t they all)! I was having trouble getting into Patreon so I withdrew all of my donations. They are aware and nothing can be done right now......sorry. I will do what I can when I can. I just love watching your videos and I have learned so much! I hope you have a great weekend and take care. 😄💙🐬🐊🐍

So my 2 biggest hobbies are herping and bottle and relic hunting. I'd expect to see a lot more glass and crocks at a moonshine distillery dumping area. Those actually mostly look like old paint buckets and construction materials. Probably someone built a house nearby and dumped all the trash from the build in that area. Probably about 100 years ago. These 2 hobbies go hand in hand. I've found dozens of reptiles and amphibians burrowed down in old trash pits or just put in the woods

Very nice finds. Both copperheads were quite high strung this time. Very nice and shiny corn snake, although I imagine it to become quite ugly before a shed. At least the brighter ones compensate a little at this time. Miraculously though, you aren’t finding so many snakes in shed this time of the year. Also nice green snake and of course the kingsnake. You have succeeded in making the eastern King one of my favorite North American snakes too. I have a Florida Kingsnake in part due to your channel. Very nice collaboration. This is the first time I saw a gopher tortoise being handled. I believe he gave it to you for some time, otherwise you are living in a tough legalistic society man.

So, You know George Heinrich?! Because when I was a little kid, like 3 years old or so, he was a big part of my life and family lol! I had the coolest childhood lol! My mom was really good friends with Janice Joplin and dated one of the Allman Brothers and was the first female DJ in Texas, and my dad was into the animals lol and worked with the Memphis zoo quite a bit

You should try to verify that! 10” snakes are fish tales in the US. Not saying they don’t exist, but when people see a big snake it seems to grow!

I'm a member of Matts- Mid Atlantic Turtle and Tortoise society. They are located in Baltimore Maryland. Eastern kingsnakes really are beautiful. I've never seen them in the wild here in Maryland but they are here. If I'm not mistaken the Eastern kingsnake is the largest subspecies of kingsnake. I know that my pet California kingsnakes will never get that large.
@stefanostokatlidis4861
@stefanostokatlidis4861 Год назад
Some of them can get quite large, but more or less most of them stay around the Californian range. The taxonomy has now changed and the Californian is considered a separate species.
