I totally agree with you about Ylang in Gold. I didn’t know how I felt about it at first but after a few hours it started changing and now I love it. I wear Feve Delicious a lot to bed. I really love it. Great video.

I felt the same about Holidays! I ended up giving it to the bf and it smells way better on him. It was too sharp for me. I love Ylang in Gold, I was also underwhelmed by it in the beginning. I kept playing with a sample until I said I have to have it. Now it's a love.
It’s so unfortunate that Holidays has that sharpness because it had so much potential 😩 but you still get to smell & enjoy (albeit on someone else lol) so that’s a plus! 😍 Several other people told me that they had a similar experience with Ylang as well initially, but gradually fell in love too! I wonder why that’s the case 🤔 either way, I’m thankful for it because that’s one of my babies, lol! 😍😍

I believe you can sign up for in stock notifications for the smaller bottle on the Dior site if I’m not mistaken! I felt okay blind buying the small bottle without sampling for whatever reason lol
I really liked Marzipane then oversprayed one day and it smelled like halitosis lmao then I tried it again with a light hand I really like it .. when I don’t overspray lmao

Whew we have such similar taste. All of these were on my list and thanks to this video I can cross a few off. Kinda disappointed about ylang in gold because everyone made it seem like it was a vanilla dream(which is right up my alley). But zhane Antoinette has me looking at keep glazed by house of oud so I might have to buy it from krystalfragrances if they are generous with the samples 🤔

@@cleophinaraymond2499 I haven’t tried the 2019 I don’t think! I believe I tried the 2020, but that one smelled like mango to me too so idk lol that one was a sweet, milky, creamy mango scent to me. Based on my memory, I’d say I preferred it. Might have to pick that one up now that I think about it 🤔🤣
My first impression of the 2020 was a creamy mango too! I was almost sold on it because I’m not a huge fan of the sour note in the 2019 but when I tried it on my skin it turned into bug spray ☹️ Just didn’t go with my chemistry I guess
I’m trying to get my hands on Ylang in gold. I have the same feeling about the mancera fragrances. I’ve only sampled them and that sharp synthetic note is a turn off. Also I went searching for that taste of fragrance and it was a let down for sure... A watered down essence absolue 😂
I think you’d enjoy Ylang In Gold! 😍😍 & I ordered Coco Vanille from Mancera so I’m giving them 1 last chance! If this one doesn’t work out, I’m done with them lmaoo watered down Essence Absolue 🤣😂😭 that’s pretty accurate Lmaoo even though I didn’t care for Essence, I could appreciate the complexity lol

Interesting most of the blind buys are a like or dislike for me ,if something is a love it stays forever in my top faves ,have you tried The house of oud emphaty?im so curious about that one
Most of my blind buys are at least a like, but I have the occasional fail of course lol the only House of Oud fragrances I’ve tried so far are What About Pop, Dates Delight, and Keep Glazed. I need to try some more of them!
@@beatrissem4354 they’re all pretty different, but I’d have to say What About Pop is my fav just based on my personal preference. Keep Glazed was a bit too green/sour for me, & Dates Delight isn’t really my style. They all had good longevity (8 hrs+) & projection (moderate) for me. They are well blended fragrances and smell like quality ingredients were used, but it’s still to be determined as to whether or not I feel What About Pop was worth the price lol as of right now, ima say no but I don’t regret picking it up.
