@@indroxcustoms6570 John, I found this video browsing tonight. This is amazing! I told my daughter I’d like to shake your hand and she cracked up. Anyway, if you can come up with and post a making-of video that would be very cool. Thanks for sharing your talent and love for Transformers with us! 👊🏼
This makes me thing the Chug collectors are better off going smaller. But the Legends collectors they are the ones that have the most potential of doing something as awesome as this but without taking up a huge amount of space.
This is nothing short of amazing. Thinking of all the 'maker' channels I follow, (and my being a maker), I'm dying to know the materials / process. If it's a trade secret, carry on . . I can't believe you included Wheeljack's "Hypno-chip Neutralizer"! (I was 10, and watching like a maniac, when "The Ultimate Doom" was on Saturday Morning Cartoons [c. 1984])
Its mostly made from blue foam board (4x8 sheet) you can get at the local hardware store. I am putting together a video of the build that highlights most of the process and will share a lot of the materials used
Awesome in the past I have made a small replica NASCAR track customized wrestlers I'm a big transformers fan haven't made anything yet but you have definitely inspired me to do so great video 😎👍
The entire project was made from blue foam board (including the ARK). PVC pipe was used for the ARK thrusters. If you can see I used zip ties cut into strips for some of the details. I also used a wood burner to carefully carve in more details. Painted it with cheap acrylic paint (Apple Barrel brand) then cleared with a satin clear coat. Used brushes and airbrush. Over 2 months of work! Glad you enjoyed the vid
