Yes I have it's been a while and I was just looking for I believe it was champagne premix. why I got the lime green mix I'll never know, LOL but it's gone it's not where it should be I know I didn't use it all. Or maybe I did! Lol
@@ShannonGibsonArtDesigns not to get off the subject of painting but have you ever watched the movie me before you? It is excellent It's a must see based on a true story starring Emilia Clarke she's from London or Australia she played in a movie I just watched called Last Christmas it was good too. But I'm no I wrote it down I'm looking for your video on how you mix your paint which I know every different technique takes a different consistency. But I did save them to messenger so I know it's in there somewhere.
@@ShannonGibsonArtDesigns I love all your paintings it's hard to go wrong using metallics and the cells you get all the different contrasting colors you having great eye detail for color combinations and they all turn out just gorgeous. I don't see no mistakes I think it looks stunning. Thanks for sharing
Well, the end result came out beautifully! Yes, it often takes time to reach the desired composition, but I like that part of it all. I think, especially when we first start out in fluid art, we are afraid to keep working on it, but as we practice, it becomes far more the norm to continue to manipulate the paint and really strive for a composition we love. I am so glad that you kept at it!
So beautiful! My issue is if keep pouring more paint on the top will dry first & then get the crazing/cracking so being very careful w torch & any heat (plus consistency & colors that play nicely together. Should the bottom paint be a bit thinner & couldn’t tell if it was wet or dry? Love using silver also!
Hi Paula, if you take enough paint off the canvas and use a good pouring medium, you shouldn't have crazing or cracking. Most times the base should be thinner so the paint flows better, but you can also have the same consistency for all of your paints. Honestly, it really depends on the technique and effects you want, but usually the base is thinner. That being said, the paint reactions in this piece is a result of the pre-mixed paints. I learned my lesson and I tried hard to save it lol. 🙂 I hope that helps.
Thank you as learning that certain colors weigh more like white & black! Then each technique needs a bit difference in the consistency but found if it’s all the same consistency it works but got a terrible pour one day as my black, white & silver just turned into a grey “mess” & wiped that off fast! Ty again very much. Truly practice & just know not ever project turns out great but love the black & more bright colors together!!
After you show me those cups I bought all the more look more like silicone because they've been so I ran back to my laundry room and I had got life Downey at Home Depot for 50 cents for the huge biggest one you can get and I asked him why while they were discontinuing it I had nine left I grabbed them all unfortunately I only got four left now I ran and got them that you can squeeze them they actually have a little spout on each end now the laundry detergent doesn't but you can't squeeze them either but that is a great tip appreciate it thinking out of the box I like that. I do so much improvising seems like everyday. I would like to one day not have to do that before I have a very small place to mix and actually I'm in Kansas and if it's freezing here I can't use my garage because there's no heat so I really don't have any place except for where my spinner was to do much which I put some cardboard around took my dog bath down and all I have to do now is move my spinner as long as I'm not doing something very large. Thanks for all your tips it's appreciated. Stay safe and be well and God bless!
