Hey man, I’m a pro painter/polisher and I wanted to do my headlights. I’ve tried all the kits before but I watched and watched and watched many of your videos and I went and bought all the shit you use and let me tell you something I did the headlights on my 2006 Dodge ram And the shit looks unbelievable. Even my neighbors have been asking if I got new lights. You have a great system and people should really appreciate you giving out this info! 🤙 Thanks!

Same thing happened to me, just to a lesser degree. I did not get your recommended discs and did not get heavy enough grit and tried to do a 2003 Camry with 800 /1500/3000 discs. Got a yellow burn right away!! I was able to get rid of most of it by hand sanding the burns and swapping out a lot of new discs. After having that experience I got all your recommended discs including the trizac for my next time. After seeing this video it is quite clear (pun intended) what I did wrong and how to fix - THANK YOU! I try to consume at least 2 of your videos a day! Keeps the swirlies away!

Under the perfect weather conditions and with your experience, how soon (The absolute soonest time possible) can they hit the road after the coating is applied? I do this at car washes and I need them to be gone ASAP.
@theheadlightrestorationpro
@theheadlightrestorationpro 9 месяцев назад
Well this is the method for you then must what time you are finished removing the tape and pack your stuff up they're ready to go... The One headlight is definitely ready to go because it was done 15 minutes ago that's part of the reason why I do one at a time and then the second one only takes about 3 to 4 minutes before they're ready to go so it's ready to go before you remove the tape of both sides....

The spray at the end....makes such a difference. Would spray ceramic have the same effect?
@theheadlightrestorationpro
@theheadlightrestorationpro 9 месяцев назад
To find a space ceramic would be very slim pickings ceramic doesn't work too well with spraying the consistency.. Also ceramic in My Pan has no place in headlights it's not a true coating... Tomorrow of a vehicle coating like wax or something like that to use it as just the headlight clear code won't quite work the same and it's far too thin..

Do you just as rule of thumb immediately charge more for kia because it's so difficult?
@theheadlightrestorationpro
@theheadlightrestorationpro 9 месяцев назад
Exactly 💯....lol They're all the same.... Certain vehicles you have to just charge more for because the difficulty level is more difficult to doing three or four or five headlights at once... These lights are very unpleasure for to do and also take a higher level of skill to..... So yes off top that car or that brand of car is a up charge .

Other guy is lucky he had you to turn too. Incredible recovery! Comment/Question: I noticed removing the original clear (p320) took a noticeable amount of time. However, the next step (p500) was drastically less time, the next step (p800) even less time than the last, and p3000 trizact was super quick. From what I’ve read, it should be opposite. Each step should be longer than the last step to properly remove the last sand scratch
@theheadlightrestorationpro
@theheadlightrestorationpro 9 месяцев назад
Whatever you read is formulated extremely wrong...lol.... 100% opposite... If you follow this method and you watch your pressure the longest step is to remove all of the clear coat and or damage on the surface which would be the p500 or greater in this instance the p320 removed all of that clear coat and damage which means it was bare polycarbonate, the 500 pretty much was operating 100% on polycarbonate that's why less time.... Was pretty much smoothing it out and removing some of the scratches from the p320, and the 800 was removing the scratches and smoothing it out from the 500 so each time you descend a level of strength of disc that step should be significantly less time almost as a reverse pyramid... If you think about it first step is going to be the longest then shorter and shorter and shorter all the way down to where you spray which is the shortest.... So whatever or whoever told you otherwise does not know what they're talking about you can see it in every video if you pay attention to the aspect the first step is going to be extremely longer and more tea is than the other steps....

@itsandrew8758 you can definitely do it just follow the the method to gain the results the closer you follow The closer your results will be to what I achieve let's try tell everybody it's literally right there 130 times which is a very small fraction of what I have achieved far as how many headlights I've done but for somebody to show you 100 times the same way it takes the guesswork out of it for use the things I use and the things that I do be a golden....
