Ok Gabe...I’m about to get mushy on your outdoor channel. I’m old enough to be your momma and I’m a gma...mush is what we do! LOL I just wanted to say I’m SO happy for you and Kelly. She is such a beautiful young lady and when I first seen her on your channel, (I think it was when you were fishing with some free diver friends?) I said to my husband, I wish you two would get together. Low and behold I watched y’all get “mushy.” Hahahaha I just had to reveal why I get so happy for you...you remind me of my brother. His name was Johnny. We lost him two years ago to cancer. He was the only boy with three sisters. He was only 47. We were super close. We sisters spoiled him. Even though he wasn’t the oldest (I am) he always looked out for us. Anyway, like you, he was an avid hunter and LOVED fishing. He was a mechanic by trade. Worked on race cars (all cars) at our local speedway in Dayton, Ohio called KilKare. When he wasn’t working he was fishing. He loved hunting in Montana and Colorado. He and my dad and uncles loved taking trips to hunt Elk and what not. Again, you remind me of him because not only did you have a lot in common but your personalities are a lot alike. Fun, funny, HUGE hearts, warm and giving. I know this doesn’t mean anything to you like it does me and it’s probably ticking someone off because I’m blubbering but I miss him and your videos bring me joy and fire up my memories of him. So thank you. Thank you for being you. Thank you to your family. To your parents for raising such AMAZING men!!! Kelly honey if he gives ya too much crap tell me and I’ll come with a switch! Hahahaha jk You’re all such a refreshing blessing to the community and I’m grateful for all you share. That’s the other thing...no one wants to take an old gma fishing now that he’s gone so I at least get to watch it with you guys. God Bless you all ~Lisa

Blue your the freakin man. I moved away from Vero Beach Florida in 1993 to join the army. I retired in 2013. I said I'd never move back. After watching you and Robert's videos you guys single handily made me actually miss Florida and I move BACK to Florida in 2020. I fish everyday now. 😆 🤣 You guys and gals are absolutely THE BEST!!!

Amazing footage! There’s so much to do out there.. Miss the Baja this year... As for safety concerns.. like you said.., never an issue... the locals are very nice and go out of their way to help...

60 years ago going out on Capt. A's boats in Panama City the triggerfish we caught were either cut up for bait or chunked back in the ocean, they were considered to bony a fish to eat, now they are a delicacy. I have a nice scar on my left hand ring finger from a triggerfish that tried to bite off when i got it to close to its mouth. The captain on the boat cut it in half and broke its jaw bones to get it to let go. Needless to say i sat and sulked the rest of the day at the back of the boat. Great video Gabe. spear fishing and treasure hunting in the same day.

Yes sir @BlueGabe, triggerfish is one of the best edible fish I have eaten. I’ve learned a better way to fillet triggerfish without tearing up your whole knife by only using the tip of the knife. Just use the tip of the knife slightly opening/breaking the skin away from the carcass of the fish all the way around just like you would start filleting top and bottom. Then cut through the skin at the tail and then pull the skin back from the tail towards the head, then fillet it off the bone. It saves your knife and your wrist from the toughness of that rough skin. 👍🏽👍🏽

Those fish in cuba we call them barbero which translate to a barber fish, delicious to eat

I grew up all around you between Okee, WPB, and Miami and we share same friends but for many years we always seem to miss and cross each other passing both locally and while travelling. Most recently when you were at Mossy Oak, I was hunting just a few miles down the road at Waverly Waters. Same for other places past few years. Also my family has RV park and Motel just a few miles down from your parent's...I sent them several xtra customers in 2016 during the power plant pipeline project. You and Rob both have excellent channels thanks for sharing and reflecting our S FL lifestyle, both fishing and hunting. I travel several different Countries and 1/2 the U.S.A too. Last year I learned that fish you speared at 1:57min is west coast version of 'sheepshead'. What is that at 7:40...? said part of trigger fish family but it looks more like hogfish family 🐟 Keep up the great work. Awesome life. Blessings over you, family, and friends. + + +

Just wanted to say. You need to try and catch a crocodile fish and grill it. But if you need a place to go you can go to YAP island in the fsm. It’s a bit pricey but worth it. Pass it on to rob. You can stay at monetary bay hotel. Look it up.

While yall were down there having a trip of a life time I had one myself but my trip had todo with me and my buddies and laying down a 19 point 200+ inch texas giant white tail...It is still like a dream but you know it is a good deer when the taxidermist even freaks out. That fish you shot is called a Gem tang. There in the surgeon fish family. They eat algae off the rocks and seaweed.. There popular in the saltwater/reeftank community that im in.. Pretty expensive too to try and buy for a reeftank. Price range for one of those fish is between 3 or $4000.. so those lobsters had a hell of a dinner lol..

We call them surgeon fish in Australia because of the razors on the tail. Sharp as a surgeons scalpel. But leatherjackets, surgeons, triggerfish and unicornfish are all very similar (among others)
