If anyone is curious as to why manufacturing has declined in America you only have to look a the poor working conditions that are simply too dangerous to allow here and too costly to mitigate. The amount of porcelain dust in the toilet factory alone is enough to give any OSHA inspector a stroke. Not to mention the welding without eye protection and the sharp edged sheet metal cutting with bare hands and only sandaled feet. This is Victorian Era manufacturing.

So why did manufacturing decline in America again? It's just a feature of capitalism to seek more profits. There are porcelain toilet factories in Europe and they produce high quality products, you just need to put enough pressure on the biz and ruling elite instead of blaming poor Pakistani workers for your greed and laziness.
