Depending on the expiry, that could've been a few thousand bucks. News of stock buyback had me peeping them and I passed. Ouch! This weeks 30c was 20 cents at noon today, peaked at 9 bucks. 😂

Check options purchases from Monday - Wednesday. Compare with today’s sales. Possible RK purchases earlier in week and sell off today.

Any thoughts on the so called "Brazillian Puts" supposedly to hedge Credit Suisse's Archegos exposure? Also, do you have any experience with using options as locates, essentially using them as a synthetic position for purposes of servicing other derivatives?

The level seems to be pretty strong, lots of bounces from it in both directions. But why would anyone pay more than he has to, choosing illiquid strikes? When selling or selling to exercise he will be slapped with a massive spread once more. Sounds like an uninformed but rich investor to me, or do you have a better explanation?

Left a comment last night and thismorning about CHWY on your last video There were two 5,000 blocks purchased for $30 (July 19) on Monday of this week. When RK bought into GME options it was in 5,000 blocks, so the CHWY purchase seemed to be his calling card. Chewy was founded by Ryan Cohen (now CEO of GME), lot of evidence that GME and CHWY will be taking a stake in eachother and likely be under the same umbrella company named TEDDY. As far as XRT, it's a method being used to short GME or use for locates. What happens is they go long the rest of the basket and then short XRT, so I'm guessing this CHWY thing could be related to that. It's why XRT has such high SI.

Got it! I'll take a closer look at CHWY transactions so far this month. I saw (2) of the 5K blocks at 30 around 30min apart but that's lightly a smaller position that what I'd expect him to trade in total. Very interesting thesis nonetheless. Player 2 has entered the chat so I'll take a closer look here! Appreciate the info!

@@OutlierTrading He also posted a meme when he returned that said "when I move, you move", so I think he might be running FTD cycles and signaling delivery dates by buying obvious (to retail) blocks of calls prior to run ups. Last we saw he only had 6m in liquid cash, although I personally think he has more in another account given a few hints he's made.

@@OutlierTrading the concentration of GME in XRT has always been a point of contention in this FTD theory. The thing to remember is XRT has once had a short interest of 1000%. We understand Rehypothecation happens every single day in the markets. I don’t think it’s too crazy to suggest that the allocation in these ETFs isn’t a concrete barrier/limit as to how many shares they can provide through the Redemption/Creation process

@@josephtallerson893 To be honest I can’t give you a guarantee on anything. But based off of months of personal research, July 16th I believe is going to have a lot of momentum. August 8th should also be a very big date for an OPEX tailwind. Similar to June 6th, which was a FTD T+34 date. Other than that I can’t tell you when MOASS happens.

And the share offering for GME was at $28.49 and the buy back for Chewy was done at “you guessed it” $28.49. Kinda like RK acquiring 9,001,000 shares of GME same as RC’s initial buy in before the squeeze in 2021. Wild stuff!

CHWY’s move is because they’re doing a $500M share buy back program at about $28 and they’ll be “locking in/retiring” those shares. That’s 17.55M shares being bought back and taken away from the free float. Meaning the current price of chewy is slightly under the buy back price. Probably by like a $1. Still probably a good buy. Shows strength in the company. Might have been a small gamma squeeze but nothing crazy. It’s getting Ryan Cohen hype. That’s about it lmao. I mean I’m sure Roaring Kitty had a little bit to do with that move if people are buying and telling people to buy CHWY based off the meme he posted, but he probably posted that meme for people to understand (or at least do research) on why CHEWY is moving

I find it interesting that Chewy’s buyback is at an average price of $28.49 and gamestops 75m offering was at an average price of $28.49, and that as a result of both, the two companies have near identical total share counts. I don’t believe this is coincidental. It feels like an agreement. I don’t know how I’d trade this concept, but it seems whatever is in play by these firms is already a done thing, whatever it is.

7:00 I believe that is to make sure the counterparty is a DMM. Like you said That’s the opposite of what someone would want to do. Usually you want more liquidity you can only guess why someone would want the DMM on the other side of the trade.

the overwhelming majority of orders are going to go through an MM so I don't think the theory would hold up here - especially with a trade that size, the probability of being matched off is so exceedingly low. still, your theory is absolutely plausible, just unlikely as the driver IMO.

i agree the dog emoji was connected to chewy in a way that is at least worth looking into, however i think there is an alternative meaning of a higher probability especially combined with your analysis of option activity on chewy, i think the dog just referred to this emoji timeline kitty posted on 05/15, and it's the 31st emoji and 31 trading days later to 05/15, i think he's telling us where we are on the timeline (flag which possibly refers to prez debate) and when the next settlement is coming (this upcoming Tuesdsay-Wednesday)

its not Roaring Kittys fault that wallstreet has programmed algos to trade based on what tweet he puts out. im convinced AI algos are why we are seeing these moves in price when Kitty does something. he usually would already have his position on before doing his tweets, so he would have had that position before 10 am. so that 10am spike was not Kittys buys. it was not retail buys imo because we dont have enough fire power. I really do think its some big hedge fund using AI to trade with and/or against Roaring kitty specifically. I also think its highly possible Kitty was loading calls in Chewy back at May 29th because thats when Chewy dropped good earnings and first announced they'd be doing share buybacks. Watching his old videos, he specifcally scanned for stocks that were having large insider buys or buybacks.

As you saw, that order executed at the same time but got split into 3 lots. If one or more lot is smaller than your filter it will not show up.

As far as xrt I don't believe the amount of shares in the etf matter. Look at the short interest and ftd's on xrt. Peruvian bull made a video a week or so ago talking all about etf shenanigans also. Great content appreciate it!

well, if the thesis is short the ETF to indirectly short the product, the concentration would matter because otherwise you're not really shorting the thing you're trying to short. appreciate the info though, I'll check it out!

Sounds to me like the Apes have learned to count, at least to 35. I might hypothesize that if you count the days from the Kitty event, and subtract that from 35... You'll probably see an overdose of yolos for 'that' many days going forward (not to say there isn't something else buried there). Will it work? Doubtful, but it will be interesting to watch....
