Hey girl! I'm so glad that you also feel the need to do a disclaimer in your videos and it's not just me. Over the years I have started to actually get anxiety before filming a declutter because you're right some people do get so snappy and take it so personally when you declutter a perfume especially if you've recently said you really like it. Hi!Thank you ❤️ I feel the same way about filming declutters 😩😂 I love watching them though. If I wasn’t doing RU-vid I wouldn’t have this many fragrances so I constantly have to clean out my collection to make space for the new scents. If I was to keep accumulating bottles, I would definitely get anxiety from it. 🥴☺️ you know how it goes though, someone always tries to make it seem like you are fake or you just want to recommend everything without really loving it. The true fragrance lovers understand and that’s what matters 🥰❤️

@@AmyGlam totally. Same here. If I didn’t have RU-vid, I would probably buy way fewer fragrances (maybe not 😂) but most likely, and I wouldn’t need to do so much curating. And our tastes and noses can change so much over time. ❤️

People shouldn’t get up in arms over someone curating their collection. Everyone has different tastes, that’s why there’s thousands on the market, because we all have different body chemistry, different scent preferences mostly based on scent memories and sometimes we just grow tired of scents and want to smell new things and yeah, sometimes we just straight up change our minds.

Love a good declutter video!! I sometimes feel guilty about changing my mind even though I don’t have a perfume channel. I also feel like I should like hyped fragrances and that if I keep it that one day I’ll fall in love with it and I fear being regretful. But when I find myself trying to ‘use up’ scents that I just not enjoying, I know it’s time 🙈

I haven't gotten rid of perfumes but I did finish RL Romance (3rd bottle) and 2 body sprays, and decluttered about 6 other sprays that just weren't doing it for me. I love these declutter videos!

You should try to layered velvet vanille with olympea! Chefs kiss💋 got tons of compliments on it! I feel that if I dont like a fragrance, I will try to layer and somehow it turns out really good!

That’s a good point that your nose picks up on different things. I can’t pick out notes except rose and lemon, and don’t know bergamot from orange, or orange flower, and I wish I could. Would help me distinguish notes to stay away from if I knew what turns me off from Si, Libra, etc. And you nailed it with JLo glow - not a safe blind guy and I was sure I’d love it based on how people describe it.

Hi Amy! I had the same "issue" with Donna Trussardi, so I understand you :-) I also love L'Interdit original edp, I think it's the best, but the Intense version is also great, Rouge version didn't work on my skin. Great videos, I enjoy it every time! You are beautiful and I always love to hear your opinion and reviews 💕

I feel absolutely the same about Shiseido Zen and Trussardi Donna, like something has changed to my nose. I was so happy with Zen last summer, i finished 30 ml soo quick and i was thrilled how good it smelled on me in the summer heat, i got another 100 ml bottle and today patchouli makes me cringe but im still having hopes to work it out lol. If no, i will keep a bottle for next-next season. Almost same story with Donna, i was obsessed with it 3 years ago when i had a sample, and after i got a bottle i could not just wear it something was off, i bet its either sandal note or the whole woody base wich is overwhelming for me. I keep smelling the cap and loving the whiffs but cant stand it on my skin. Last year i got Donna Pink Marina but all still the same Donna with more bitterness of a grapefruit. Agrr...

I love declutter videos. Our noses change and sometimes we try to make ourselves love fragrances that we no loner enjoy. I recently decluttered: D&G the only one intense, L'intredit edp, Twilly Hermès, Givenchy hot couture edt, guerlain noir perfecto, rasasi Jasmine Whisp, hypnotic Poison edt and edp and pure poison. I'm not a fan of a certain type of Tuberose, orange blossom, or leather. And l can't handle liquorice, anise or gardenia.

I love Mancera Velvet Vanilla. Please give your Mancera Velvet Vanilla another chance. It blooms beautifully in the F/W weather. If you declutter, please it make yourself a decant of the fragrance it might change your mind. I say make yourself a small decant of your 19 fragrances you are about to declutter you might develop a new love for them. If you get assigned to a four seasons state.

When I picked up velvet vanilla all I got was bubble gum and I was so disappointed. Put it in the back of my collection and forgot about it. Pulled it out for this past winter and now I get so much vanilla. Crazy how our noses change over time with fragrances.

I enjoyed your declutter Amy. I feel the same way about the Mancera Velvet Vanilla. It just doesn’t work for me. It’s funny with Mancera, I don’t always love the more popular ones (Instant Crush, Velvet Vanilla, Holidays (I’m waiting to see how I like it warmer months but I don’t know)), but I adore some that hardly get any love (Jardin Exculsif❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️).

I still need to wear/test my Velvet Vanilla sample. I always hesitate when it comes to trying out Montale and Mancera fragrances on skin 😂 I guess I’m afraid they’ll become too much for me the longer I wear it 🤷🏽‍♀️ That’s what happened with Roses Vanille. I have samples of Rose Elixir, Sicily, and Instant Crush that I haven’t worn yet.

To me versense and chance eau fraiche are so different but people always put them together. Versense is much more feminine and gentle. And chance is bright and woody. I love them both so much but they are not interchangeable at all. I love declutter videos. They inspire me though I never actually get rid of anything. 🤣

I know your moving but if you want a great vanilla perfume by mancera get your nose on coco vanille it's what your looking for imo.also when you do move don't get the intense l interdit go straight for the rouge l interdit, it's so sexy and spicy with same DNA as the og.i get so many compliments. ❤💯

I am very close to decluttering Angel Nova, it's got this sharpness that I don't like. Also I recently got Very Good Girl Glam and I love that one way more then Angel Nova so I think it's time to let it go.

Got Valentina Pink the very same day found out i was pregnant (6yrs go) less than a month later I could not enjoy the scent.. ffwd years later it survived my diclutter I was able to enjoy it.

I can totally see that happening after a pregnancy. It took me about a year after my third baby to be able to start getting into fragrances again. Our hormones are all over the place after pregnancy 😩

Isn’t it weird how we perceive fragrances differently? I am also not over the moon about Velvet Vanilla, but because the vanilla almost knocks me off my feet and the bubble gummy scent is almost non existing to my nose. I also prefer My Way over this, but I just licked blood for Prada Paradoxe. Nevertheless I will keep Velvet Vanilla, but would never repurchase.

I agree with you about Mancera. Thank God I tried it first. The Zen I blind bought because of a review by Demi Rawlins. I don't like it at all but it smells great on my mom. I have Trussardi Donna and I don't get the sharpness so far. Regarding Chance Eau Fraiche it smells a little masculine to me too. I will finish it during summer but won't be buying it again. I will stick with Eau Tendre.

You might be on to something 🤔 now that I think about it, it could be lemon peel because I got that same sharpness with Girl of now forever and that one had lemon peel too and I got rid of it.

I love Declutter and Haul videos. Wow! You decluttered so many. I recently decluttered Miami glow and Beyonce Pulse. I don't understand the hype behind Miami glow. To me it smells like toothpaste👎👎 Pulse was just too sweet for my liking although I love sweet, sexy and gourmand scents.
