1. I now know what I should do with my 12k points in world eaters, because the likelihood of finding someone to play apocalypse against my 12kWE, with 4k in khorne daemons, and if they’ll let me my 3k in chaos knights in Texas is incredibly unrealistic. 2. I can’t even begin to imagine how much this cost if they purchased it all straight from GW. 3. Holy fking shit that is so awesome.

I love Raven Guard, but this is tottally out of their most effective elements, unless they're actively retreating and disappearing from sight.... or they just getting swarmed

@@monoremu3200 They're still codex astartes! The trifold path teachings doesn't have them caught slacking in a upfront assault! It's just usually better if the assault starts with a well time ambush or two.

From what I know of the ravenguard, which honestly isn’t too much, this is most definitely not their preferred way of fighting or preferred type of enemy. However my knowledge is mostly of Corvus Corax and how they fought in the heresy, like I said I don’t know much about them especially not their 40k version. Someone above said they are codex compliant but I feel that could mean many things and not necessarily that they fight like ultramarines now. That being said if they are the Ravenguard I think them to be and they are still going out to hold the line against the swarm like this, it’s arguably even more heroic and the Salamanders would be proud to call them brother, and yes I would have to say they are definitely losing.

According to Canon Lore, 6 Custodians can kill 1,000,000 Tyranids. If they were Custodians, this would've been an annoyance over a threat.
