The coin with the red coing is a Templar's Cross from the Knight Templars, I'd love to get that! The back is the sigil of the Knight Templares which is 2 knights on a horse.

The sets are ‘proof 1975’ but the coins are marked 1776-1976, I would guess the proof set is done a year before, cos it’s a for bicentennial xx

1975 and 1975 quarters and halfs were minted with the bicentennial design. they are valued pretty much where the price tag said at about 10-15 each

You messed up with the acit test. You start with a lower acid to test like 9k which won't dissolve the gold. Work your way up and if you get to 10k and it dissolves then you have 10k.

The large "rock" you took out of the bag, looks like emerald with matrix, not sure. The pendant with the brown stone is goldstone, which is manmade. The turquoise in the rings might be dyed howlite or dyed magnesite. Just because it's a 925 piece doesn't mean it's real turquoise. It would pay to get the stones checked out, just to be sure. Real turquoise is worth more. The pendants with "see through" stones look like some of the ones I've gotten from China. Also, just because a piece is stamped 925 doesn't mean it is 925. I've got rings from Wish that are stamped 925 but aren't

The bicentennial date is 1976, not 75. There were millions sold.

If you look close, the date shows 1776-1976 so they are bicentennial proofs regardless of that the black case shows.

The Gold coin with the red cross was for the Knights Templar and the writing is Latin. It was issued in Rome.

I was told by a jeweler you have the results of the acid test backwards. Those were both real gold.

You are correct....if the acid dissolves the test line....it’s gold...the different acids indicate which karat it is....for example....acid to test 10kt won’t dissolve the sample it it’s 14kt...

Hi. You can order necklaces in bulk from Alibaba that indicate "925" on the on the clasp. The clasp MIGHT BE "925" but the necklaces are definately not. At VERY CHEAP prices for, like, 20 necklaces, it is highly doubtful there is any silver in them at all. I used to buy them for my jewelry-making business because they were pretty (and cheap), but I always removed the little metal piece stamped 925.

Silver jewelry would clean up with silver polish or silver cleaner where as other metals would not & stuff marked 10k, 14k, 18k & 24k would look amazing after a few minutes in ammonia where other jewelry might b cleaner but not sparkling like gold would. I drop my necklace, earrings & rings in ammonia to come out super clean & sparkling. Fine for diamonds too.

The silver can be tested using 18k acid it should turn milky white. However the way they are marked they are most likely plated.

You need a giant magnifier that stands in front of you with a light on it. That way we should be able to see those markings as well.

Be sure to do an acid test on all the silver pieces. Not all are marked depending on the age. Watches that are gold and silver should be tested the backing on the faces will always be marked stainless steel, it protects the mechanisms from sweat But the watch itself and the band could be white or yellow gold.

yeah! the lure locker edit: the white bracelets is made of howlight. I have a few pieces made with that stuff. semi precious stone. edit 2: alot of times howlight is tinted to look like tuquoise so be aware that can happen. those earrings looked to be dyed howlight to me

All the jewlery with 925 is silver. The bags and box's come from jewlery stores. JTV sells some of the silver things you have. I have some with the same backing designs that you found in this locker.

Ok hope Im wrong and dont mean to be a Debbie downer but there is a website from China that sells all types of things including jewelry supplies for really cheap prices. Its kind of like a Chinese Ebay with thousands of different sellers in one place that ships their stuff in little zip baggies or in little sealed packs like the 1st necklace you showed also they sell those little blue drawstring bags. They also got in a bit of trouble for stamping things or putting those little round 925 tags on things that werent really silver.I just checked and the 2 stretch bracelets are selling for less then 5.00 on the site. Now Im not saying some of the stuff isnt real but just be leery because I would bet money someone connected to this storage shopped there.

The clasps that are marked 925 May just be the clasps that are silver. Check for other marks on the chains, also run them in an ultrasonic cleaner and see if they shine up.

It doesn't look like t a Templar Corss, it is a Templar Corss. The sigil on the back represents the Sigil of the Knight Templars a horse with 2 knights on it. Is it old ? Is it New ? That I do not know though.Looks something pretty new-ish probably. Without knowign the date, maybe it's a coin maid for the 700 th anniversary of the end of the Knight Templars which would have been in 2012.

Double Mounted Knights Templar Mason coin gold tone red brings up listings of the same coin on many sites. I'd magnet test it as it's probably gold plated judging from the prices.
