I just recently found out that you could play PS1 games on the PS3 so I dug up all my old PS1 games from my closet and the garage (about 25-30 games in total excluding demos which there are like 7 or 8) and have been having fun playing them all again and reminiscing
I grew up with the PS1 but being much younger at the time, missed out on a lot of gems. Last year when I had two weeks off of work for the holidays, I went through & completed MGS in two days followed by Resident Evil 2 in one sit down period - I may not have played them back in the day but these new memories I've created will stay with me for years to come. Great collection, man :)

You know that Harvest Moon Back to Nature is a really rare game. I went high and low to get a copy of it. I'm so pissed at myself for losing case and manual. I've played that game for in game 9yrs. I still play it to this date. Never gets old. Love playing it on my 60" TV.
I cant say enough about The Legend of Dragoon. Besides Final Fantasy VII, it was my favorite PS1 game, and easily top 10 all time. I'm currently playing through it again on my Vita.
Thanks for mentioning Wild 9. Loved that game. Final Fantasy 7 and 8 were my first exposure to jrpgs and really hooked me. Without those games idk if I would be as big of a gamer as I am today
Castlevania symphony of the night is definitely one you should check out. It has been rated as the best ps1 game of all time, and is one of the best games of all time. I recommend you play it. P.S. If you beat Belmont, and the game ends, you missed something huge, because it unlocks another 50% of the game.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 was my favorite. My older brother had, and we still have it, a PS1, and I was into skateboarding when I was 3 and several years after, in 2002/2003 and we had not yet gotten a new system so I bought in a double pack with The Cat in the Hat in of all places, a Kohl's department store.
Absolutely fantastic collection dude, a real joy to see! Those Working Designs box sets you have are beautiful too, where did you find those? I'd almost lost hope as well as you had those lovely boxes, already showed Alundra 2, and the original Alundra (Working Designs' best work IMO) all the way at the end. I didn't think you'd have it! Super to see the NTSC version of that too, they go for about half a hundred bucks on eBay.
PlayStation is probably my favorite system of all time. Final Fantasy series Twisted Metal 1 & 2 Fighting Force Crash Bandicoot 1 2 and 3 Tekken series SF Alpha Metal Gear Solid Blitz Fifa 99...list goes on! :))))
Wow ps1, great memories. Honestly, my favorite games were resident evil, metal gear solid, final fantasy 7 and 8...oh yeah, can't forget twisted metal, I spent many hours on that game.

Did you finally get a copy of PaRappa the Rapper 3 years later? I for sure know its alot more expensive then Um Jammer Lammy, but the PSP port of PaRappa the Rapper is super cheap, you can get a psp copy for less then $15.
i wasnt paying attention, but youre missing some of the most valuable games for the ps1, including: suikoden ii, valyrie profile, and tales of destiny i and ii. i think you are also missing mega man legends 2 and the misadventures of tron bonne (with bonus disc).

Considering the playstation was my first console, i have surprisingly few games for it. But i didnt exactly take the best care at the time, unfortunately.
My favorite game of all time is on PS1, Jade Cocoon. It's a real hidden gem, it's a pokemon-like monster catching game but you can merge your monsters together to combine all the aspects of both into one new monster complete with a new look that is a combination of both monsters appearance. The art was done by someone from Studio Ghibli ("It was developed by Genki in collaboration with Katsuya Kondō, character designer for the Studio Ghibli movies Kiki's Delivery Service and I Can Hear the Sea"), it has pretty decent voice acting for the time too. It also has a mode where you can battle your friend's minions and infinite end-game corridor mode. I had a bunch of Playstation and PS2 games including Final Fantasy 8, Metal Gear Solid, Tekken 2, Point Blank, Gran Turisimo 2 and other popular titles and some uncommon ones like Vagrant Story. Jade Cocoon was the one that stood out and the game I sank most time into (I probably spent over 100 hours on the demo of it alone) so it is well worth checking out for you, your kids or anyone who enjoys RPGs.
My favourite Ps1 game I always played was Destruction Derby the first one because it was one of my childhood memory games that I liked, with the cars and how you crash into other cars, I also know a way to survive Total Destruction in the game. Brings me back memories I still play the game on my Ps3 and the disk still works which i'm surprised really because of too many scratches on it.

Might have missed it but did you have the game Loaded? Always remembered it from the first Demo disk that I think came with the system. It was the overhead shooter that was nothing more than an updated Gauntlet but with gun toting lunatics with great 3D and lighting effects for its time. Takes me back to my teens.

Metal Gear Solid was THE reason I worked all summer to buy my Playstation when I was 13 :) I think the very next game I got into was Final Fantasy VII and I was hooked on RPGs from there on out, but none could ever compare sadly. I also imported Dragon Ball GT Final Bout and Dragon Ball Z Legends from Japan. Oh my dear god my friends and I put so, so many hours into those games. Played the crap out of the Syphon Filter games too, though never played 3. I'll stop there - don't want to write a book :)

Tomb Raider 1 was the first game that I had ever experienced, I was only three at the time, so it used to scare me a lot, but for some reason I wanted more, XD I mainly watched my Dad play it so he got me into video games. The first game that I owned myself was Spyro 2. But to be honest my favourite video game of all time is GTA: San Andreas, I just love the areas in that game.

Yeah I remember Syphon Filter getting loads of great reviews at the time, I never got to take it up though. No TR 1 / RE1?? Did I miss them?? Still a massive MOH fan, have them all. Just picked up Alien Trilogy and Alien Res, yeah they're dated as hell I'm sure, but I couldn't resist. Seeking out a decent cond of Dino Crisis 2 and that's about it for now...lots of nostalgia CJR, I could NEVER ditch my PS1 games! Excellent video :)
I love vigilante 8 i just had to get it again its hard finding 2nd offence in pal for the ps1 so i bought the vigilante 8 arcade not as good as the originals in my opinion
I know this video is over 4 years old, but you must try out Jumping Flash and Jumping Flash 2. Both are very excellent 3D platformers with addictive gameplay, and a very memorable soundtrack.
Legacy of Kain and Metal Gear Solid were/are 2 of my favorite game series. I had a lot of games but regretfully sold most PS1 games besides a few. Loved Fear Effect. Mega Man X4.. Syphon Filter..

I don't know if you're looking for constructive criticism or not, but as someone who has viewed your videos, I would recommend focusing on a smaller amount of games, and giving a decent form of information about each game and maybe do multiple parts rather than attempting an entire collection with one video. It's great to see classic games, but I'd rather be a little informed about each game rather than just shown the case.
Some of my favorites are MGS, crash bandicoot , twisted metal, wipeout, spyro, FFVII, silent hill,and resident evil. I really like the first need for speed too. It just had this badass attitude. SeeJayAre , have you ever played the the new twisted metal on ps3? And if so did you like it?
