I'M 79...AND it's a process! I'm all about sharing the aging process with those of you who are on this journey too. It's a brand new chapter that we can navigate together. Hi dear Patty Nice to see you again I work in a few volunteer Christian thrift stores And I'm amazed at the amount of clothing that is discarded!! People are bringing them in all day long Some are still having tags on Everybody can do what they want but I so wish people would buy second-hand or new in the thrift!! Us Americans waste so much we're so spoiled and I don't have money to go buy new clothes all the time Please ladies consider buying new up-cycled recycled clothing Cuz I guarantee you most of the new stuff that people buy is going to end up in the thrift 😮😢

I purchase from consignment and thrift often. I recycle and my money goes much farther. And if I don't need it, it stays in the store. I shop my closets.

wish I had thrift stores in my area cause I would shop there, I took my sister to the mall last week, she has beginnings of dementia and she wanted some new tops, the clothing was just awful, could not find one top for a mature lady, not paying those high prices😢

I'm not sure that's true. The aging naturally part I mean. I think she did a video when she had surgery on her face. I may be wrong but I think she did.

@@hildacollier2638 She did a video about surgery, but it wasn't facial surgery. What she has said is that she didn't have cosmetic surgery when she was younger and she's too old now. Any surgery risky - people have died during cosmetic surgery - and it gets riskier as you get older.

I love feminine designs also.Tailored clothes just do t do it for me ! All of your choices look splendid.I was taken especially by the blue jumpsuit with the bright blue duster over it. Very fun, informative, honest video! Loved it. Love your clothes you bought and the fact that even cheaper choices up to high end can all be pretty! I agree with you on the purchases from overseas, they could be made here. They do give people jobs and the designs and colors are very beautiful! I remember a story about Zsa Zsa Gabor who was on the Mike Douglas show years ago. She had a closet full of dresses for each color! Her favorite was a little White dress that was cotton that her husband bought for her at K Mart! It was only $4.00! It was very simple but very pretty! I recently lost nearly 30lb. and thankfully where I live the Goodwill has a great selection of good quality clothing. I just bought a Brooks Brothers sweater for 8 dollars and a pair of white linen dress slacks that retail for 280.00, never worn for also 8 dollars. At one time I purchased a St. John's women's blouse for 1.29 that retailed for over 300.00. I find Chico's all the time, just bought a sweater for 5.00, perfect condition. You would think I lived in Beverly Hills! Your style is stunning and you are just gorgeous! I am about to turn 74 and I dress to please myself and my darling husband and am so thankful for women such as yourself who share their experiences!

Hi Patti, you are absolutely correct, designer clothes are smaller than those bought at Walmart, and Shop/Q. HSN/QVC are sized a little larger.. Being a shopaholic I’ve got lots of clothes. I’m going through the same as you but for gaining 40lbs during the pandemic. I too had a problem not knowing what my new size was. I bought things from extra large, medium, size 8, 10… As you said “ don’t worry about the size!” I used to wear. Size 2, 4, 6, 8, before the weight gain. I finally can figure out what size to purchase. Thank you, you are a beautiful lady!

I was just in Fl visiting my 87 yr old mom with my daughter. We stopped into Pensacola… ended up in downtown. So much fun…nice boutique shops and restaurants. If you haven’t been to German restaurant, you must try and get the curry wurst!, my entire family live throughout Fl, Ga, and AL. Uncle out on Perdido Key. Such great memories!

Patti, I love your new clothes. I haven't followed you very long. But I love your channel. You set the bar for us older ladies. I'm divorced and 75, don't feel like it though. My favorite top was the beautiful one you were wearing first. You look so feminine. I work at Talbots, I wish we had some of those type of clothes.
