A big problem this season was not playing enough games. Out of the cups early, no european football. Went a lengthy period with a lot of injuries then only playing once a week. They need those extra games so its good to get Europa spot 💪🏻

So negative.dont win when we should want to win. We're going to lose against the worst team. Every player who has a bad game needs to leave. Dont go to Australia. Literally, there is no joy for loads of fans. Everything seems to be a problem. Being Aussie, i have to stay up all night. I've bought 3 kits for my son, Ange has millions of fans here. You get them every week. Literally back it, support it, encoutage all our players and stop whining all the time.

If Ange had played VDV LB and Dragusin CB in those 4 losses I doubt we'd have still lost all of them.

That Chelski game screwed us up, coupled with the Africa Nations, it's amazing we managed to get 5th..Well done ANGE!

Hi barnaby. i couldn't agree more it's beena positive rebuild season. I must say I beleive more goals come over Porro's head. I feel like teams attack his side the most. I know what you mean there were some obvious goals that destiny should have done better with. I relly feel like the midfield is more culpable especially Bissouma. You can't play a 6 in this sytem and not track back. We need a killer number 6 to mak this team and system work. I like zubimendi or Ederson personally. Also a bit more rezlistic cause we're investing at youth. I would personally love to go for Paulinha. He's PL proven and perfect for that position in our sytem. He's 28 but having an experienced player would also really help. Howeve just can't see Levy paying that much for a player his age.

5th is decently good for a start under Ange.....but would be much happier if we made it to CL by getting 4th, it a chance to play with the big club like Real Madrid, Barca, Bayern Munich, Inter or AC or Juventus.....to be competitive against them and maybe win if we are to consider ourselves a big club, big mentality and mindset......losing that chance means we can't win the CL albeit it's very hard.....Liverpool , Man City , Chelsea, Man U had won after many tries so i think we could.....who knows, we may made big progress next season by leaps and we will regret not in the CL.

I beg to differ, I think he’s a one trick pony. Set plays have been a problem from the Everton game. He didn’t think it was a problem, while it was blinding obvious. He plays one way only, and he’s been found out.

As an Aussie and particular with this timing this is just cash grab by Levy. When teams come and play their final warm ups before the start of the Prem then there is a better chance you will see players trying to impress and patterns emerging, but with this trip it is part holiday and mostly cash grab. A mate used to be on the board of Football Australia and when these trips are had by Chelsea, Liverpool, Man U etc, they literally take home 99% of the gate takings and put nothing back into local football. it is the modern plundering of the colonies for their cash. Does not sit right with me. That said having done this long haul trip business class for many decades for work on a pittance of what they earn, it really is not the worst experience you could have........ My only brush with flight fame and Prem players was flying in business class on the trip back to London post the Hong Kong warm up for Euro 96 when Gazza went mental and tore the Cathay Pacific plane up..... you have never seen a sicker looking man waiting out the other end. To be fair it was a big turnaround and a great tournament for him and England. I even managed to wander down to Trafalgar square to watch the rioting after the Germany game. Ahhh those were the days......

Im not having a go, I feel everyone is entitled to their opinion, and maybe Ive missed something, so its good to listen to others with differing opinions to learn things I may have missed. I am Australian, so ofcourse I want Ange to succeed to have an Aussie success story at my club, I would love nothing less, so this isnt coming from a place of hate, or hope he fails, or anything like that. But I just dont see the progress. For me it was a season of maybe they were given free reign to just play football, and the opposition didnt know what to expect, so we got a few wins. I didnt think the football was amazing, we were getting a bit lucky, but I was prepared to give the time becaause Ange had only been there a couple of months. Then yes, we had that dire period of injuries and suspensions, so Im not really including that into my opinions. It was a period of just wait for players to come back, then we should start seeing some good football. But for me, that good football never really came. The players were coming back, I was giving time for them to gel, but it just never really happened. We were never really seeing brilliant football, especially not for 90 minutes. It was more of a case of terrible for the first half, 10 minutes of goodness in the second, then back to holding the breath for the rest. Even the Villa 4-0 wasnt really a 4-0 performance. Every game was basically just a 50-50 of if the planets aligned, more than us out playing our opponents. And for me, getting towards the end of the season, everyone had figured us out, Ange tells the world his plans, and we were just completely getting picked off. I never really saw an upwards trajectory for us. So I do like asking what people are seeing when they say the opposite. I know stats, we finished 3 places higher and 6 points more than last season. But second half of last season we had a manager trying to get fired, and everything that could go wong, going wrong. It was a diabolical season. So its wierd in my opinion to compare to that season.

I saw the lads boarding the plane to Oz and I didn’t see anything unusual. What did you see? They looked excited, happy with good team comraderie. Look, allow them to let their hair down a bit (to board a plane). Hope no injuries and they have a good break with a good performance on the Internationals.

Imagine we won the league but lost the last 4 games (quite a stretch I know). I guarantee that small corner of the fan base you mention would focus more on the last 4 game loss streak than us winning the league. They go home and moan, go to work and moan, go to the shops and moan... Energy sapping bores.

I think The Dragon is also keen to get up front and try and score some. Maybe just wary of getting caught at the back as he should be but to have another Micky/Cuti is so great for us at the back.

Porro is a talented player with a ferocious shot. I don't know what is or can be, but he's not a full back as he demosntrated against Doku in the Man C game. A Ben White or Andy Robertson would not have conceded the penalty. Stop this continuous comparison with Arsenal that almost everybody seems to indulge in. There are much bigger fish than Arsenal for Spurs to try to emulate.

For all the noise from some supporters we only scored 4 more goals this season v last. Considering all that's said it's a very small difference. 2 more games won and obviously 2 less lost but you need to keep in mind Antonio left a good few games short of the end of season. Hoping for a lot more from the team next season but it will be tough to achieve.

Deki backup striker can also play rw, Johnson backup rw or backup lw Son lw, solomon backup lw (if he stays) We should buy an out an out striker who can seamlessly fit in this system and a rw. Thats should make our forward line fine for next season. In defense, i think we should only target a backup for porro. In midfield, a number 6 is very essential and need to bring on a creative attacking midfielder who not only replace gio but also will challenge maddison. I like the hudson odoi rumor very good player i think for the system. I do wonder if next season will be similar to this one if we are bringing in a lot of key players. We've been warned & seen this season that Ange's system leads to a lot of injuries for players in their first season & surely this will apply to incomings too. I hope this isn't the case or fans actually have the patience to give Ange the time needed.

If we sell richy for 60, biss for 30, gio 20, hojberg 30, rodon 12, Emerson 20-25, regulion 7-8, ndombele 5, tanganga 6-7, Spence 10, Gil 6-7, Solomon 10+, davies 10(I’d keep him for back up). That’s over 200 million right there. I have no clue who we’re gonna buy though. We have Bergvall coming in the summer already and vuskovic the season after. I’d love to see us promote some of the u21 players like lankshear, donley, Santiago. Been brilliant for the u21s

The 2019 window really was a disaster, especially after not signing anyone for 18 months before that. That 2.5 year period set us back so far and a big reason for the decline that followed.

The thing is we got thumped in some games. And even lucky in some not to lose by 6 or 7 . Some team selection and subs choices were a bit odd at times. True it is his first season and more positives than negatives and I like him so looking forward to getting a decent striker .
