Nice set of explores Jon. That was certainly a long one. I thought you may have gotten out at the end. They must have been tipped off you were down there. Otherwise, they would have shit themselves seeing a torch coming towards them. It seems like months since we had an explore drop. I hope you had a great summer and I'm looking forward to some explores now that the tourists have packed up for the year. Thanks for sharing, Jon.
Thanks, it's great to be back exploring. We've done some great ones over the past month so I will keep them coming every Friday! The guys I met down there were local university students. Had a great chat. Think they subscribed too.
Good spot. I played it back. I remember around that point it sounded like a lot of electricity almost shorting out and crackling. I'm hoping to go back soon and get up the ladders and see if there's a hatch to the outside world.
It was an open hatch in public, so no permission required. I've seen a lot of pictures and videos of people exploring it. So all good. It was an interesting tunnel, when I go back I'll venture up one of the ladders.
@@StreetZipsSZ do you think it will remain open for people to explore or will it be locked do u know ? Cause it looked ever so interesting and must been a mine at one point or just for the pipes to run through
@@luminoussoundsyt From my research it has been like this for some time. It's a fairly remote location only used by fishermen. So yes, I think it will be left open. The area that I found the tunnel in has lots of other smugglers/adits tunnels. I can't wait to get back there and have another look around.
