Hello Linda Even that I missed your voice, still good the guitar 🎸…. Anyway, interesting those paints…. I don’t own a single brush I use my fingers to blend my oil pastel… neither to say I admire how can you brush those vivid colors!
Thanks Patty! This was filmed quite a while back so I’ve had lots of opportunities to paint with the and I really like them a lot! I already sold half a dozen prints from paintings I did with them 🤗
Which brand of acrylic gouache is your favorite Julie? I’m new to the Acrylic gouache. I normally use M.Graham regular gouache and I like the longer open time but there are definitely benefits to the acrylic gouache.
@@BeginnersMind-ArtMind That’s my brand of choice for gouache too. I have tried Holbein, Turner, and Sennelier Matte (in the pouch). The Holbein and Turner are my favorite and honestly, especially in price comparison, I’d choose Turner except for the white. I think Holbein, in general, has a better pigment load.
@@Julie-vy3oz Thanks so much for the info! I didn't even know Sennelier came in a pouch 😍. I think because I have gotten so used to M.Graham (extremely high pigment, single pigment colors, and long open time because of the honey) it's a little hard getting used to the other brands but I do need something less expensive for my sketchbook paintings. I do have some Holbien that I like but it dries much faster than M.Graham. I should give the regular Turner Gouache a try.
