Several months ago I used to daydream about beating Patriot with all the community proclaimed "worst Operators in the game" just to prove people wrong.
My dream has come true now.
And at this point, there is like no excuse anymore to deny the "There are no Bad Operators..." statement any longer.

Badknights: "There are no bad Operators, just players who have already given up on trying." Fundamentally, this niche involves any Operators either ranked as B Tier or lower on the Gamepress Tier List, or considered a "Low-Tier Letdown" on Arknights' TvTropes page, as the point of this niche is to not only uphold the merit of the aforementioned quote, but to also prove that you do not need a lineup of totally busted Meta Units just to play through the game, that you can raise whatever unit you want and they will still preform well because it's not like the game will softlock if you do so, and that the reputation of these Operators featured have NOTHING to do with their actual strength and performance, regardless of rarity.

Additional guidelines/restrictions/boundaries for this niche:
Operator archetypes (such as AoE Caster, Phalanx Caster, Instructor Guard, Duelist Guard) directly listed on Low-Tier Letdown's page can have its Operators who belong in those subclasses included as "Low-Tier Letdown by Technicality" UNLESS they are stated as "exceptions".
• Lava the Purgatory, Mint, Whislash, Jackie, Indigo, Utage ✅️
• Zuo Le, Rathalos S Noir Corne ❌️
If an Operator is listed on Arknights' "Game Breaker" page on TvTropes they are immediately disqualified regardless of other factors.

Operators listed on "Former Game-Breakers who have fallen off the Meta" do not count for this niche. While they technically are "Not-Meta" anymore, they must be regarded as "mediocre" or "bad" Operators to actually qualify, UNLESS they belong to an Operator archetype (Phalanx Caster, Brawler Guard) listed on Low-Tier Letdown (making them qualify by technicality), or have been directly moved to the Low-Tier Letdown page.
• Angelina, Blaze, Schwarz, Nian ❌️
• Carnelian, Hellagur, Siege ✅️
Operators listed under "Former Letdowns who have ascended from bottom tier" are not allowed as they are no longer considered bad Operators UNLESS they are NOT used in the method that got them out of the Low-Tier.
• Amiya (No Skill 3) ✅️
• Ch'en, Passenger, Mostima, Leizi, Skadi, Chain Casters (No Modules) ✅️
No Modules, as they are mainly the reason why several "bad Operators" are buffed to where they are no longer deemed "mediocre," and are also what make several "Meta Units" be considered "good" (i.e: Executor the Ex Foedere, Ethan). This would also make the aforementioned Operators without their Modules "Low-Tier Letdown by Technicality"

Damn I thought more prep was needed because I know I needed tons when I got to Patriot. My hats off to you. That was an amazing clear and even featured da Conk Ceet!!!!!

damn, i knew this stage would be hard for ya considering gamepress uses Patriot as the benchmark for if an operator is "Good" or not, but you evidently cannot be stopped! Good luck with the H stages if you intend to tackle those. And Akafuyu gaming may also be a good investment for you.

This is literally the first time I have ever seen a single soul use Paprika, i think HG forgot the chain medic class exists (why is it even real) Now with that said her skin is one of my favourite literally ever, so CEMENT??? IN BADKNIGHTS???

Wait, is Cement considered a bad operator? Obviously she's no 6 star, but her S2 gives a pretty cracked DEF buff and 38% physical damage reduction (from 19% after warmup) is pretty huge. When I need a 1 block physical titan, Cement is always who I go to, and I don't even have her maxed out yet. And while its not as practical, her S1 can be pretty fun too

@@eigengrau7698 "she's only a 1 block, boo hoo" yeah, she's meant to pin one high threat enemy in place to prevent it from reaching your laneholders. This is not a downside, if she blocked multiple enemies then she would lose stacks of her DEF buff much more quickly (and she can already lose them from ranged units anyway). She's not a blocker, she's...A DUELIST

@@Purplepentapus_ the problem simply is that this is very rarely a useful niche. she's at b-, that's not "bad" as much as it is "mediocre", which describes cement. sure she has the most defence, but she's bogged down by a comedically high dp cost, an incredibly awful cycle for her skill 2 (which she will usually struggle to get up in actually high pressure situations where you need it most due to the fact she's a duelist). but yes, she has her uses, but that doesnt mean she's good, it just means she isnt bad, which given her rating as B- on gamepress, is pretty much the epitomy of "decent but nothing special"

@@idontbelieveinmagic well of course she's niche, the entire duelist branch is niche. And while I agree that her S2 has too high of an SP cost, I don't really think her skill cycle is an issue. If the enemy survives the full 60 second skill duration then maybe you need some more firepower (although I did use her to fight the steam knight, and he took a couple skill cycles to whittle down), and if the enemy can break through all of the stacks of her buff before the skill ends then she's probably not the right operator for the job anyway. The main issue is more the difficulties of the branch trait, not so much Cement herself. Of course it would be better if she had a lower SP cost, but its not that hard to just place her a bit early to charge from trash mobs. IMO, players have gotten pretty spoiled with fast redeploy and helidrop units, never having to worry about careful timing and/or setup

Yeah she is an A- on Gamepress tier list so idk what qualifies her for this team. Must be one of the other criteria. That being said, GP tier list contradicts itself with nearly every other sentence it publishes. It's honestly a joke of a site if used for anything other than seeing what an Op's E2 skin looks like or what mats you'll need for masteries or something.

@@Raptchur It's because Tuye shows up on TVTropes's "Low-Tier Letdown" page. To quote them: "The thing about Tuye is, similarly to Breeze's case, is her lack of utility in comparison to the other Medics of her rarity (that is, Warfarin and Ptilopsis). Whereas Warfarin shines through her hefty buff and Ptilopsis shines through her talent and her second skill, Tuye's kit is a watered-down version of Warfarin's first skill and Shining's second skill. Bycoming issue is that her second skill is also crimped by the fact that she will only use it on allies that have fallen under half health, and it will only reach its full potential when the ally is under 20% health. In conclusion, all of Tuye's kit is geared towards emergency, and not for a lot else. This is also similar to Tsukinogi, who also suffers from this."

He goes into it in the description. Basically he's taking ops that tier lists etc. write off as "bad" and showing what they can actually do. It actually has pretty strict rules for what ops are allowed.
