The sign 'FREE HUGS' is really interesting. Because in the middle of society, people don't give hugs for free. You have to be someone's best friend or parents or son or lover or else to asked for their hug. And then this guy came. 'FREE HUGS' says to us "you don't have to pay anything to earn a hug. You don't have to be something to earn a hug." And for me, that is beautiful.
And sometimes people are too afraid to ask someone for a hug. Even from their closest person. Afraid for being called a freak, or too melancholic, or sissy. And to meet this guy with the sign 'FREE HUGS' it is time of relief.

I ask myself why do I watch these videos. I smile the entire time I'm watching it. I also watch the people in the background of the videos and I see them smile. Hugs are a connection to each other. Who would I hug? My wife who passed over 30 years ago. She gave the best hugs.

+Gazaaa v Ya know it's honestly not that people don't care. The reason it seems as if no one cares is the reason you just stated. Its so incredibly common there, it's sad. Just when it happens in a place where it isn't an everyday thing, and it is a mass murder it's a huge shock. The middle East is in the news for mass murders, suicide bombings etc literally every day. People have just gotten so used to it being normal, which is very very sad.
