Unfortunately Caz is inactive as a musician. I mean, she has all the tools to succeed: she's a good looking woman, she can sing, she can play the bass and she can play the keyboards. What else to ask for? I'd love to see if she ever gets to release music. She's way too talented.
@Aldo Cherres Because she hasn't posted anything music-related stuff on her social media (mainly on her Facebook). Been following her since she joined Cradle Of Filth in late 2010 and after her departure of the band in late 2012/early 2013, she toured again with Hugh Cornwell and Mel Gaynor but stopped in 2018 I believe. Don't get me wrong, she's a talented musician but she's probably doing her own thing that doesn't involve music these days.
Hellooo!@@RodHxC I am working on a new heavy rock band with my mates. We are called DethRays. They did a lockdown recording for fun and have since decided to try a proper band...wiith me on bass! We are still writing the album but we are almost there! So many thanks to you for all your support. x
Great days.I can see the Stranglers with a brilliant new front man and also see Hugh ,(who is playing brilliantly) too. There was a time when I blamed him for leaving because it meant the finish of the band I loved, but that has passed. I was gutted when he went and the period with Paul Roberts was dire but now we have two for the price of one! Without Hugh we would not have had the Stranglers music. Long live the Stranglers and Mr. Cornwell.
@jayrox40 She seems to be playing with them again, she played with him at Beautiful Days festival this year (20th August) and apparenly she's doing a few more gigs with him
She's actually playing all the finicky bits that JJ plays in between verses. I do a version of this - singing and everything... The third verse always belts out strongest. I'd like to see how they're coming along now.
Fantastic - good quality filming and sound - shame there's not an official video of htis tour. Maybe the irony of a talented woman playing one of rocks most notorious sexists' songs is lost on the below Hugh n Caz more power to you - agree the hoverdamn even better!
now got to defend Ms Campbell here. It was a game effort. She hasnt done vocals before so its a bit unusual and this song is really bluesy and so quite challenging to get that sound especially for a youngder un like Campbell. Give her credit, she is a great player, looks great and has a lot to add to Hughs show. And its hard to play bass and sing at the same time , few can and few do. You heartess lot, get off your arses and see if you can do it :)
