@@pineapplepenumbra Oops! Typo. Good point had I meant amoral, not immoral. One other way to think about this topic is the apply the the Fryers Club Roasts; "We only roast the ones we love." I have never seen a roast were it would have been appropriate to mock someone about death of any sort. Take Care.

@@MattTCfarm If you meant "amoral" then it wasn't a typo, as that's what you wrote, so don't worry. I try not to assume what people are saying if I'm unsure, and like to check, that's all. On the subject of roasts, I really don't get that, it seems alien and somewhat stupid to me. Maybe my girlfriend is right and I'm slightly autistic, as she's said that people have been trying to take the piss out of me and I just haven't noticed.

@@tomcoburn5258 If this was a mild topic and they posted something that was like, "Hey, remember that but we did on that topic?" then it would be ok. Frankly, the first time I saw the bit it felt creepy to think Prince Charles, or anybody (remember when Franky...) wanted to see there mother dead. Maybe had they posted one of the bits about British imperialism there might have been value in it. Maybe there is a rule about only mocking death when someone survived. Plus, it is not a legitimate argument to say a dead person "won't be upset."

@@tomcoburn5258 I suspect we can agree on one thing, we both love Mock the Week. However, emotions respond to words and pain can be emotional and physical. It is good for humanity to empathize "hurt" and sadness, especially at the lose of life. I can, therefore, "act offended" for myself. Would you feel nothing if you saw one child say to another, "Ha Ha, your mother is dead." If an adult said it to an adult, should age eliminate the pain? Also, my issue is not limited to just the Queen butt the idea of laughing at death and the pain around it. I will say it was easy to laugh more than a decade ago when the bit was first aired because it was ridiculous because she was not dead. Timing is a core issue of comedy, posting this now was bad timing. I don't make comments like this but this hit a nerve. Not a deep nerve so I am not unable to see your point. Good luck.
