1 transfer window, and it needs to be May, June, July. You can only transfer 1 time if you decide to transfer again, you lose 1 year of elgibilty regardless of if you played at the former school or not. (Only exception is a HEAD coaching change) Move all recruting activities national signing day, early signing day to Jan, Feb, March. Spring ball in April
I love how all these Bama fans are all tuned in big time to Auburn podcasts. Shows how worried they are and they should be. Their days are gone and they know it. It’s gonna be a long decade for all those Harvey Updykes.😂
I believe you on that. I went to the Vanderbilt game last year for the football game and it was terrible. Huge anti isreal protests going on. Having to walk through that mess to get back to my truck was nerve racking . I hated not having my gun and having wading through tons of folks with so much hatred and hostility.
Hey josh big fan of your podcast… was wondering if you could interview Fran Brown the new Syracuse coach they bring back alot of starters pair that with the sec kids and new recruits with that schedule playoff bound if they stay focused ….Syracuse used to be a power this is the year they rise 🍊🍊🍊🍊 keep up the good work josh🍊🔥🥶
As an Alabama fan, I love this interview and I love that he’s coach at little sister. He has the energy of a 90 year old man and is open about not having a clue. Not a good look for him or AU.
I love auburn and will root hard for freeze as long as he’s our coach but I think he overthinks things way too much. Can we teach our qb to stay in the pocket and go through his progression and not fold up like a lawn chair at the first hint of pressure and then worry about the lockers and training tables. If we have a crappy year again he can’t blame it on his staff again.
@@RockonRain22 we need Georgia offensive line classes and think the fact he beat Saban with 2 non NFL QBs and almost Thorne that should have credibility more wins vs Saban than Kirby lmao
You asked HF about how he would coach different from 15 years ago. 15 years ago he was coaching at Lambuth University which lost accreditation and closed. Freeze only has 6 years experience in D1 schools. 🎉1 year at Arkansas State and 5 years at Ole Miss prior to being hired at Auburn. Lambuth and Liberty U are not relevant
Liberty U not relevant?!? First, HF made them relevant. 2nd, if there had been a college football playoff last year, they would have been in. And they are predicted to be that team this year. Lastly, Liberty beat BYU, Arkansas, Va Tech, Baylor among others. They are most certainly relevant and his fine efforts there led him to Auburn.
Scary how he is letting players set standards and accountability....players come and go...standards come from AUBURN UNIVERSITY..you are just a part of that.
@mattbrown942 Yeah, great, now what does he do when those guys aren't there anymore? Do the same thing with the next batch? Maybe the next batch doesn't cut it...then what? Your template of conducting your program is not the participant it's the institution. You follow standards the program elevated, not the whim of the student. This is a business that is already successful and you are letting workers who have been there a couple of years dictate the formula. Head coach makes the rules and standards, and if he doesn't win... he is fired, and another is hired to find the bottom line, which is to win. This is being too submissive to try to fit in.
@@Proganaut1989 they don’t all leave at the same time lol. The players pass down the culture to the younger players and so on and so forth. Freeze still has to approve of everything
I thought this was good, right up until he said Peyton was the starter and blamed last year on "the pieces around him." Maybe he is great at practice, but so far he has not performed on the field and AU will have another lackluster season if he is our QB.
Thorne isn’t great. But our receivers last year couldn’t get open and when they found holes on zone coverage, they dropped easy passes. Thorne is good enough to start. We just have to hope the new guys can make early impacts
@@odasmith1215 no way. that means in some games we dropped 90% of the balls thrown. The only way that makes any sense is if you say if Thorne let go of it and it wasn't a catch, it was a drop.
Also, why you think all these programs are hiring players and personnel managers? Coaches coach ball, they don’t know how to manage who gets what amount of money and who gets what sponsorships etc etc..
Just like your coach you don't have a clue. Bama will always be the standard that others only dream of. Roll Tide !!! P.S This is a Josh Pate , not aubarn podcast.
Freeze needs to be more honest with us. Nobody likes Thorne! He sucks! He'd fit more into a classroom on how to be a qb. Please get rid of all the trash players! We won't win any games if we can't have a decent offense and defense! Same exact team as last year. No change.
Sure because you can coach a qb better than this guy? Gth out of here with your "he owes us this and that." He's a football coach not your personal assistant.
@@skipgumphrey9579 not sure what that has to do with the overall success of the two programs. Should we judge Bama on the Dubose. Francione, Shula era? So, he’s allowed to rib me, and yet you give me crap for ribbing him? Stay in your lane.
Sounds the same here as well. Coach Freeze seems like a zero BS kinda guy. We know he recruits well and will get talent in. If they struggle again this season, the rest of the conference should enjoy it because it usually doesn’t take him long to get rolling good. RTR
