Song ~ "This is Me" from the Greatest Showman starts 2:45 Hugh Jackman: The Man. The Music. The Show Madison Square Garden, New York City, New York June 29, 2019 (1 pm show)
Same here I am crying now watching her sing again. Also, the movie is my favorite movie of all times in my life. I cry because I can relate to the words.
Every single time!!! I've watched every reaction (cried on every one) I've watched the official video (bawling snot running) through the movie, just crying, crying crying and loving each and every moment!!! 💕
when Hugh Jackman performed here in the UK at the O2 in London when Keala Settle came on to sing this son everyone in the audience including me were singing along which brought her to tears.
This song is so inspiring, but her voice makes it a thousand time more... EVERYTHING. It certainly makes me want to sing as well. More so i get such a rush of powerful positive emotions when i heard her sing it. Her voice is just so amazing and powerful. Her energy is so contagious! The end had me cheering too, lol. 😁👏👏👏
Her "yEAAAAHHHHHHHH" when everyone sings "This is me" made me stop crying for one whole second to laugh before I started to bawl again cripes this song and Keala breaks me every single time
If more people had her ability to exude a strong, positive energy...this world would be in a much better place than it is. Such a beautiful song for a truly beautiful person 💜
Keala is the embodiment of this song and I absolutely love her for that, if by some small chance this gets to her, thank you this song means so much to my family! I have preached to be who you are to my kids since they were little and to see you live this song it is such a inspiration to young people today! Just thank you!
This song!!!!!!!! It inspires me in my darkest days. Fighting Bipolar, anxiety/depression, and PTSD from years of sexual abuse, it brings me out and THERE IS NOTHING I am not worthy of!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU!!
When she says "this is your song" while getting the audience involved: yeah nope. It's hers and we've just been roped in for the ride. People might use it as an anthem but it's with her as a giant torch
The first time I heard this song....it broke me. Tears were just pouring. My heart felt like it was breaking. To this day I still tear up no matter where I am. ATM it’s 1 Oct. and I’ve yet to see the movie. Not sure I could watch it and survive.
Oh No!!! You must see it!!! Watch it at home with a box of tissues but it's so beautiful. The whole movie is just so special. It's more than just a movie with a song or two that make you cry. It's more than anything on film I've ever seen. It moves me like my fav Monet or a baby's first giggle or ... I don't know - whatever the most beautiful things that you've ever experienced. Will you cry? Yes Will you feel sad? No No No!!! You'll feel uplifted and like you've just been given a gift. I wish I could go back and watch it again for the first time. I can't but you can so you must watch it!!
I am so happy they recorded that rehearsal Hugh Jackman talked about in the intro. It is one of the most precious things I've ever seen and I'm obsessed with it. So much connection between all the singers, I so wish I could have been there!!!
THANK YOU so much Keala! So many people can understand when we see your face and your sincerity! We are glorious! I hope that I keep remembering the spirit of this song!
Love this song my fave from the movie and this lady just nails every scene she’s in ! It’s such a anthem to tolerance acceptance and inclusivity what the world needs more of be who you’re meant to be and as she says make no apologies .
My 87 year old mother thinks Hugh Jackman is the hottest man who ever walked the earth! She says if she was 50 years younger she might have a chance! Lol!
I tear up everytime I hear this song in any capacity. I love her and her ability to absolutely inject this song into my heart and being. Being a student of music and theater I absolutely adore this song and movie. My life took a different turn from the stage to real life...but I always have the desire to sing and dance and live through music. God bless her and her abilities.
when i went to this show in australia, i remember after this song had finished i screamed “i love you keala!” and she yelled back “thank you! i love you too!” and it’s a moment i’ll never forget.
I'm 100% certain she's knows how much the song means to all of us she's feels it too you can hear her emotions through her voice when she sings this!!!! The most beautiful song ever!!!
Woaaahh her voice is soo amazing!! She's prefect to play Ursula for a live action!! Imagine her singing Poor Unfortunate Souls with belting and riffs!!! 👏👏👏👏
I really love this song. Miss Settle brings heart and realism to the song and the role she played in the movie. every time I hear this song and even see this video and the one Peter Hollens has done for it, it brings me to tears.
Before I watched the movie I seen work shop for the movie when keala sang it and knew then there could never be anyone but her to play the part she is so wonderful and I was so thrilled to see her in the movie!
Was at the Manchester show and I thought she was brilliant having only heard recordings up until that point but the recordings do Not do her justice at all she is absolutely INCREDIBLE live!
Hugh, big thank you for the incredible example you are, Keala, keep singing you are magical, and to all the cast and crew of that movie, thank you for such a motivational, inspirational performance! Loved it! Xxx
Kearlle is an amazing woman amazing actor n an outstanding amazing singer she helped make that movie amazing outstanding beautiful lady I love this lady 💞💞💞💞💕
This is how you make an album that's stayed 28 TWENTY-EIGHT weeks at N°1 in the UK charts... And what is amazing is to compare Keala from the workshop session video of the song (when she has to grab Hugh's hand) to this one where she is so strong and confident! It's just a masterpiece 💕👍👍
Wow I wish I could see u you are my inspiration you go girl I love love you and the song you give me strength when I can’t go on you have no idea how much your song lifts me really xxx
We were there in the Rod Laver on the Fri night and then again on the Sat arvo. Harder her new song is incredible! I still watch ‘ The Greatest Showman’ each fortnight and listen to in car weekly.
The last two shows of the tour were yesterday and today in Mexico City. I went yesterday... almost died when she came out, I don't think anybody here knew she was part of the tour, people went crazy.
