I love Hugh, he has such a beautiful soul, the grace of Truth is in him. I cried when he talked about the conversion of convicted serial killer. This is a challenge in charity and that only God can judge and until the end, we are called to save a soul, no matter what.....

I really enjoyed this one...and I mean REALLY enjoyed it! I like how Hugh can draw from so much knowledge of other sciences as well as having an extensive knowledge of the faith and is able to blend these together to provide us with a rich depth of knowledge on other relevant, topics which all back each other up. His talks have helped me so much to see that God's scriptural truths are beautiful in their simplicity and in their awe-inspiring majesty, and everything connects logically and fluidly, with no contradictions. Not many can speak with such clarity and keep the high science stuff grounded for the likes of me 👍 Oh how I wish he was children's schoolteacher! Please keep posting more Hugh Owen. ❤

I don't know how to contact you. My father, was a nuclear physicist and recently said to me, concerning creationism, " Evolution cannot explain male and female. Where did male and female come from?" It's profoundly true. No one we've ever heard of has approached this aspect yet.

I think God changed even the nature of light after Noah's flood. Bible says the rainbow was created after the flood. Means earlier light structure was different. May be speed was different etc. This points to some structural changes on the universe with the flood

It's easier explained either with a change in the amount of water vapor in the atmosphere or with the ice sphere, that used to exist above stratosphere.

Excellent question. I believe in the Biblical account of The Flood, but I too wonder where those bones/fossils are. Would they not have been buried and fossilized just as the animals and plants were? Maybe God REALLY wiped out the humans.

I agree we do not fully understand genetics but first you said we devolved from early humans who lived hundreds of years. Lets say they do find a way to prolong life, would it get us closer to our initial state of centenarian lifespans? Fascinating talk, I learned a lot.

Sorry to say that Roman Catechism (AKA The Catechism of Trent) is equally binding as the Catechism of the Catholic Church, that is to say.... it isn't. Both Catechisms explicitly assert that there are errors contained within and that the authority of the parts derives from their sources. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the Roman Catechism, but precision in speech is important.

@@abmrose the introduction of the catechism contained by order of St. Pope Pius V. There the text is asserted to be insufficient and still requiring pastoral or theological guidance on minute details (such as nuisance) or additional dogmas not included in the catechism. No where does it claim to be infallible. No where does the Council of Trent provide the charism of infallibility to it. It is a work with dozens of writers who are to be held in high esteem and only contradicted with great temerity. It is a tool to an end not inspired by the Holy Spirit.

Perhaps: pre-flood = flat earth; and, flat earth= no "seas"; only, waters above, and waters below(!?); post-flood=spin-dry. Globe stops spinning(!?), and GOD'S Promise of "not ever doing a cataclysmic flood-water destruction; would be broken. What's the percentage of water spun off into the "atmos" "sphere"? Positing enough volume to cover most of the "flat lands" of continents. Planet: (Plane-Net) (plan ET) 75%[+], water; 25%[-] land.

Evolution is a theory. There are very few laws that we know are certain in our universe. I would say evolution fails on the basic logical principle of causality. The effect of the change can not be greater than the cause. This would also fail the know laws of thermodynamics.
