HUGO BOSS THE SCENT PRIVATE ACCORD FOR HER | DESIGNER GOURMAND FRAGRANCE

I think it's a good release from Hugo Boss and I've tried it on multiple times in stores. It's widely available in Europe. Something has always held me off from buying it though. I get a strong chocolate-orange vibe from it which I love, but you're so right, the performance is weak. I might pick it up when the price comes down a bit on a discount site here.

Initially I didn't like it so much. Thought it was too sweet and the dry down smelled a bit like sweat. However, this fragrance is really growing on me. It is unique, fresh and quite comforting. I will get myself a bottle :)

Omg Lola... I Like/Love this perfume, but the performance is so obizmole, I decanted a 15ml to carry in my purse. I also wanted it to evolve more. I definitely got the coffee and the peach. I used to wear Hugo Boss *Deep Red* for women, it was my go-to about 3 years ago, it had much more staying power. My husband about 5 years ago wore Hugo Boss for men, and No joke, he burned through 3.4 ml in a month. On him it lasted about an hour gone, he used it like an after shave, I smelled it on his clothes, slightly. Here is a fun fact Sylvester Stallone was the brand ambassador for all things * Hugo Boss*...... Rocky. I have to laugh a little when I wear it.

I tried it and hated it. It smelled like a synthetic orange chocolate bar. I tried the new the scent absolute and it’s gorgeous 😍 coffee and vanilla 🤩

Aw, it's so disappointing when an edp just doesn't hold up for hours. If they'd made it to last it could have been a bestseller. I never see Hugo Boss perfumes as much as in the 90's. I loved Deep Red.

It's coming up to summer here and I recently purchased a Hugo Boss fragrance called boss bottled tonic it's smells like a gin& tonic with lime i think its unisex and very nice long lasting too. Love love love the scent, but after an hour it’s gone completely. So disappointing as I do not continuously apply fragrance throughout the day.

It really smells so good to me. I haven’t worn it since Ive purchased it. I’ll have to get back around to it. You smelled a peachy note? I smell a mandarin note.

I smell orange rather than peach..for me it's orange coated in chocolate. It's nice but I prefer Hugo Boss For Her Intense..more sensual and without the orange/peach. I'd wear this in the day and the Intense at night. But you're right, both don't last.

Thanks for the review, Lola! I got a sample of the Hugo Boss The Scent for Her Intense. While it does smell quite synthetic/a bit fake-y, I found that I liked it quite a bit. It's a soft, feminine daily scent right up my ally. However, I felt that the longevity for an "intense" version was really very poor - and, like Lola, longevity isn't something usually care that much about. I mean, it lasted on my wrist an hour max and there wasn't a trace of it left (did not wash my hands or anything either!). So disappointing. If anyone knows of a dupe that lasts, please comment!

I hate it when you buy these expensive perfumes and they don't last on you. I bought Mon guerlain the EDT. And it lasts maybe 1 or 2 hours, if that.

Love this fragrance so much. Agree the longevity is terrible. Lasts about 30 minutes on me...I have to spray it on clothes to get about an hour.

Jeremy fragrance plugged me on this one👌I also have The Scent Intense. Longevity and Sillage disappointing.

I'm a sucker for gourmands. I have to find a way to feed my inner fat kid some how 😂 The notes have me curious, so I'll have to try it. I've never had a fragrance that didn't last all day ,even body sprays will. So that's no worry for me. Appreciate your Insight into this one 🙏

Interesting notes, peach in perfume isn’t my favourite note unless it’s done Mitsouko style. I will try to find it in Vancouver.

Very true!! The men's version is often touted as a gourmand, but to my nose, it's far more synthetic-fruity-fresh especially in the drydown. The heartbreaker came when I let 2 women choose which they preferred - The Scent Private Accord or La Nuit de L'homme. Can you guess which one they both chose? I'll give you a hint - it wasn't the second one. 😭😭😭

I like L'Artisan's Noir Equis. It's got that nut that people might not like. I do. Good review Lola

I haven't smelled The Scent Private Accord for her, but I have smelled the men's version. I had mixed feelings about it. Even though I thought I liked the men's version and thought that it was an improvement over the previous 2 flankers, I nonetheless felt that it was missing something. I wonder if the women's version fills that gap. I guess what I would like to know is if a confident man could wear the women's version.

I wanted this but I ordered the original by accident. I only got the 1.7. I won’t be reordering because of the poor longevity, I can get something better for the price.

ı love its smell but silliage is too low can you suggest same smell with good silliage perfumes?

All the new releases seems to be having performance issues, is this due to some regulation or just perfumes are getting more diluted every iteration to keep profit growing??.. Cheers
