Nice to Both 😄👍 Very much appreciated for the sub Jase, and a Early Happy Birthday 🎂🎉 to ya! 49 years old... I know that feeling, I just turned 49 back in February. 😂👍 Huina 1550; pretty plain jane in stock form, But a seriously impressive little machine once it's been modified,😄👍 I've got a Huina 1550, 1593, & 1580 and I've got to say, pound for pound, the modded 1550 is probably the Most capable machine for it's size,🤔 The controls on the Transmitter aren't laid out the best, the stock track drives are weak, the plastic is somewhat fragile, but once it's modded, it definitely wakes it up.😁 I think that it's overall "compact size" is one of it's most redeeming Qualities, (once it's been modded) But if you do decide to mod your 1550, I would strongly suggest getting "servo limiter switches" for the worm gear screw drivin servo's, on the Main & Secondary Boom,🤔😕 I didn't install any limiter switches on my 1550, and I've definitely paid the price for it,🙄 It doesn't take much to "Accidentally" over extend one of the Booms,😕 a little bit of momentary button confusion, is all it takes to start breaking stuff,🙄 I got a little turned around with my secondary boom controls, and accidentally pulled the secondary boom in too close to the chassis, and ahh I ripped the secondary booms mounting Tabs right off of the Main boom itself,😱😫 Which basically means, that I would need an entire new main boom as a replacement,🤔😕 and ahh they don't sell something like that separately,🙄 which leaves only a few options,🤔 Option A; get a aftermarket all metal Booms Option B; get another 1550 excavator for a Part's Vehicle Or option C; Mickey mouse it back together again,🙄 I went with option C, 😂 At least at first,😕 I used a set of Tamiya Hornet rear axle hinge mount tab's, and custom fitted them "into" the main boom, I basically Counter sunked the Tabs into the main boom itself,in order to reattach the secondary boom,😂 lol and it actually worked out better than the original setup for awhile,😄 But ahh... "ultimately" the lack of servo limiter switches came back to haunt me again, and I ended up cracking the main boom in half later down the road, from over extending it once again.😫 Currently.... I have a Brand New "aftermarket" all metal Boom setup, that comes preformed for the worm gear servo's, and even includes the servo limiter switches as well,😁👍 only problem... is that I haven't gotten around to installing it yet,😕😂 (to many other projects in front of it)🙄 And I've had the part's since ... hmm 🤔 wow! I've had those parts for almost two years now,😂 (shacking my head at myself) yeah... I need to get that thing back together here sometime,🙄 She's been sitting on that shelf for way... too long,🤔 I'm gonna have to thank you for that one Jase,😂👍 lol If you hadn't said anything about your new 1550 on the way, my 1550 might be sitting on the shelf for another year.😄👍 Recommendations; I recommend that you leave it stock for a few minutes, or at least until you've got the controls all figured out, and memorized to the point of muscle memory,😂👍 Plus you can't really hurt it too much in stock form as well,😕 it's stock gear driven servo's that drive the main boom, will click & skip before they have the opportunity to break anything else,😁👍 It will be weak on overall power, But it will slip & skip before anything will break.😂👍 My 1550; "Highly Modified" And in just about every meaning of that word too,😂 lol my 1550 weighs in at over 10 LBS, and I custom modded the track carriage to except Huina 1580 metal track drive units or "motors" which means, that it's got plenty of power to move that 10+ LBS around,😁👍 But that's also a cautionary tale,🤔 The 1550's motherboard, can't handle the larger 1580 track drive units,☹️ and it will only last for a few hours of tracking around, before it fails altogether,😭👎 which means that a 1580 motherboard, and transmitter will be needed, in order to get my 1550 back up to full speed again. 🙄😕 So when it comes to the track drive units... hindsight is 20/20 😂 lol I don't recommend going the same route as I did with the track drives,🙄 if you do some Internet searching, you should be able to find a couple of different track drive unit upgrades available, that are actually made "specifically" for the 1550, and won't require a ton of custom modding. 😁👍 Happy Early Birthday once again Jase,🎂🎉 Many Thanks for the sub,😊🙏 And much Obliged for checking out the video my Brother, Hopefully my rambling was helpful. 😄👍🤜🤛 Edited for a missing word.

It's not bad, But it definitely needs some extra weight on it, I had the big monster yellow Grading Bucket on this Excavator last week, and the Excavator was tipping over trying to pick it up,🙄 I also had the same bucket on my modified 1550 Excavator, except that the 1550 didn't have a problem lifting it, But the modded 1550 also weighs 10 lbs, 😁👍 The 1593 is roughly half that weight,🙄 Another major drawback on the 1593 is the bucket curl, And I blame that on the lower limiter switch for the secondary boom arm, The limiter switch needs to be Relocated farther back, And that would allow the secondary boom arm to travel farther back towards the cab,🤔 Which would be a huge improvement for this machine,😁👍 Fyi, I will be doing that exact same thing to this 1593 in the coming weeks, along with a metal slueing gear, and a upgraded Slueing Servo, And I will be adding some substantial weight to it while I have it apart.😁👍 After that, it will be much more capable.😂👍👍 Thanks for your Awesome Comment, and for checking out the video my friend. 😊🤜🤛

The Excavator's okay, But it's a little bit on the light side, It needs a little bit of weight added to it, I had the Big yellow Grading Bucket on it the other day, and the weight of the full bucket was causing the Excavator to tip over while trying to pick it up,😂 lol So she needs some weight added to it, in order to make it a contender, But otherwise it's a great machine.😁👍 Thanks for your Awesome Comment & Compliment Pascal, and for checking out the video my Brother. 😊👍🤜🤛

the cab doesn't fit like u said cause the 1593 isn't the same actual scale as the other machine. The 1593 is modeled after a MUCH larger excavator & there more of about a 1/18th scale RC.
@R.C.A.D.
@R.C.A.D. Год назад
Well I definitely can't argue with that, My major complaint is that the cab size, or more importantly, the size of the scale figure that fits inside the cab, should be the same size across the entire Huina lineup, and if that means that the 1593 needs to be bigger overall, then so be it, at least the size of the driver would be the same,😕 The fact that the cab is so much smaller than the rest of the Huina lineup, is what makes it look weird,😕 Huina should have started with the cab on the 1593, and then designed the rest of the machine around it, so that everything would be more copacetic.😁👍 The 1593 may be scale to it's cab size when it's sitting separate from the rest of the Huina lineup, But when it's sitting next to a few other different Huina excavators, Then that small cab stands out like a sore thumb,😕 Like I said Huina should have started with a normal size cab and then designed the rest of the excavator around it.😁👍 Thanks for your great comment and for checking out the video my friend. 😊🤜🤛

if I had to guess the 1593 is modeled after an excavator the size of a Caterpillar 365C Excavator or a Caterpillar 6015B Excavator; the BIG boys! the kind where 2 scoops & the dump truck is full & best get out o the way for the next truck.
@R.C.A.D.

Oh I hear everything you're saying brother,😄 My complaint about the 1593 is the size of the driver figure for the cab,😕 Doesn't matter how big, or small, a "Real" full size excavator is, they all have a cab that fits the size of a average human,😕 Same with loaders, dozer's, and every other kind of vehicle that mankind produces,🤔 Which is my problem with the 1593 excavator,😕 (The cab size is significantly smaller than the rest of the Huina lineup) which makes it look weird when it's sitting next to any of the other Huina construction equipment,🤔 And if you imagined yourself shrunken down to that size, then you would have to be a midget to operate the 1593 compared to any of the other Huina construction equipment,😕 See what I'm saying ? Since the cab on the 1593 is so darn small,it kinda looks weird when it's sitting next to any of the other Huina construction toys.😕 I know in "real life" that the excavator they designed it off of is freekin Huge,🤔 But the doesn't mean that it takes a Huge human being to operate it, or a little person, It has a cab designed for the average size human, just like everything else humans produce, Basically Huina F'ed up! 🤔 They should have started with a normal size cab (cab size that matches the rest of the Huina lineup) And then designed the rest of the excavator around that,😕 The excavator would have been larger all around overall, but at least it would have looked more correct when sitting next to the rest of the Huina lineup.😊👍 I totally get, and understand what you're saying Danon,😁👍 My complaint is that the driver figures should be the same size across the entire Huina construction equipment lineup, Just like it is in real life.😕

@@R.C.A.D. agreed, it would be much better if the industry used a true scale math based standard, but unfortunately, it doesn't. we're stuck getting 'em & then measuring & decide whether or not to keep or return it, if whether it actually fits our preferred scale. Lol, an excavator like the 1593 at it's correct 1/14th scale would an impressive sight for sure!
@R.C.A.D.
@R.C.A.D. Год назад
😁👍 Yes sir... It would be nice if Huina got their Scaling right.😂🤜🤛 1/18 scale truck's might be compatible with the 1593 cab size 🤔 The 1/24 scale scx24's, seem to be a bit small compared to the 1593's cab size 😕 And unfortunately at the moment, I don't have any 1/18 scale vehicles to compare against the 1593, But out of all the RC's available I'm thinking that the 1/18 scale vehicles would probably be the closest fit for the 1593.😕 (Just Guessing, it's not Gospel) 😕 so don't hold me to it.😂👍 lol

@@R.C.A.D. But you do, your Atlas 6x6 is 1/18th scale, (measured it out) it looked pretty spot on to me when you held it up to the 1593's door. Lol, well, true, when scale RCing, horse shoes & hand grenades aren't the only things that "close enough" is close enough. It's like the JJRC HEMMT 6x6 (JJRC Q75) that I have is technically 5-10 scale inches too big from proper 1/18 scale; but that's only a few millimeters that small, so "close enough" is close enough for me. Just need to figure out how to put in a decent motor & proportional control. 😕

@@R.C.A.D. Started doing some research & found out why the 1593 & the others can fit Volvo stickers. They're modeled after a Volvo EC750EL, the largest excavator that Volvo makes. I'll post a link to a vid that'll give you an idea as to it's real life size.
@lorrainedimmock4096

The EU models are fully proportional, tracks are drivable at very slow or medium speeds, the only problem I have, is keeping the equal pressure on the buttons, so it tracks in a straight line..lol..( .the Double E excavator has revolving wheels on the transmitter, which is far more user friendly....). .I have one and very pleased with it, with the mods I have done to the boom/dipper, it's now a hobby grade model, but it's not 1.14 scale, by any means, the Volvo EC950 L ( which it's based on ) is Volvo's largest excavator to date and would dwalf the Cat 320,.! But Huinas models are both the same size ..lol Huina,s scales have much to leave to the imagination, the 1593 is more 1.20 scale, and their new Cat dozer is 1.25, making it impossible for a constant realistic construction collection...pity....

😁👍 Cool..... And with a couple of small "low cost" mods... You can make that excavator perform like a Champion 🏆 Word to the wise...🤔 Be careful where you order the excavator from,😕 and make sure to read all of the customer reviews 🤔 and If anything looks fishie, then keep on looking,😊 It's been a few years since we got this "particular excavator" and forgot where we ordered it from,😕 I know that I mentioned the website in this video, but RU-vid frown's upon people watching there own videos,🙄 so once again.. it's been awhile 😂 Moral of the story is that our excavator came with all of the extra attachments, But it was missing one of the plastic idler wheels on the track carriage, And those are something that you can't buy separately 😕 You can buy all of the attachments separately, but Nobody sells the idlers wheels for them,🙄😕 The only way that you can get a spare idler wheel is to buy another excavator with the same type of idler wheels, Purchasing a Huina 1550 excavator, is the only cheap way to purchase spare idler wheels.🙄😕 I just happened to have a spare 1550 idler wheel laying around, So we got lucky with having a spare idler to replace the one that was missing....😕 Be careful of where you purchase the excavator 😕 Some places are better than others 😕 (Even if the excavator doesn't come with all of the extra attachments)🤔 at least you can purchase that stuff separately 😕 The most important thing, is that you receive the excavator in one piece, and 100% Complete. 😉👍 Check out my Huina 1580 unboxing video, and see where I purchased that machine from,🤔 I can't remember the name of that website either,😂 lol but they offer a warranty on some of their excavators, and they arrive in working order, "at least most of the time"😂 they sent me a damaged machine, but they went out of their way to get me the spare parts to replace the damaged one's, "Which was a couple of damaged track link's on one of the metal tracks" 😕 I think the name of the website is "Xtreme RC" 🤔, But once again it's been awhile...😂👍 And Whatever You Do Don't tell them I sent you....🙄 I had a falling out with those guys over some lost shipping items back at the beginning of the C-19 outbreak deal, Shipping product's was kinda sketchy at the beginning of all that nonsense, and some of my stuff got endlessly lost,😕 And I may have Lost my Temper a smidge with the people who were responsible for it,😂 lol Never the less... Don't mention my channel name. 😄👍 They sell the Huina 1593, but they don't include any of the extra attachments,😕 But they do sell them separately, which is kinda pricey really 🙄 So I recommend getting the attachments from somewhere else "such as eBay" 😉👍 The place that we ordered this Huina 1593 from included everything, for the same price as most people were selling the excavator by itself,😕 Which is one heck of a good deal! The only problem is, that you will be crossing your fingers, While hoping the excavator arrives in 100% working order,🙄 That's a Big gamble! 😕 Be careful where you order from Brother, And I wish you all the Best.😉👍🤜🤛

No sir, Ultimately, it all depends on where you order it from,🤔 Most online sites only offer the Excavator, Transmitter, Battery, and charger, And that's it.😕 But if you look around, there's at least Two Web sites that offer the Excavator with the rest of the goodies, for the exact same price as the one's that don't include the extras,🤔 This one was ordered from a site called "Sterling Kit" I believe, 🤔 And It came with all the Extras, But it was also missing 1 screw from one of the track drive units, and also missing one of the idler wheels from the passenger side of the track carriage,🙄 The missing screw wasn't a big deal, But the missing idler wheel Could have been a Huge Problem,🤔 Since no one seems to sell those, 🤷 Luckily, I just happened to have a spare idler laying around from my 1550 Excavator, Or else the 1593 would still be missing that one, 🤔😕 Because once again, No one seems to sell spare idler wheels. 🤷 Thanks for your Great Question my friend, and many more thanks for checking out the video. 😊👍👍

Thanks for the very thorough review. I think based on the width measurement you provided, the 1593 is actually much closer to 24th scale than 14th scale. I think it's based on the Volvo EC950 which is a huge excavator. Could you take a few photos of it next to the scx24? I'm looking for a good 24th scale excavator. 😊👍 My pleasure Jonathan, I'm glad that it was helpful for you.😁 As for the "Scaling" 🤔 Yes you are correct... the scaling seems to be a little bit off on the Huina stuff,😕 As for the Scx 24's in comparison...🤔 They don't exactly match up with the excavator's, the Scx 24's look very small next to the Huina's,🤔☹️ I think that the 1/18 scale "Wpl vehicles" seem to be a closer fit,🤔👍 😕 but still... they aren't exactly a perfect match,😕 kinda the same thing with the Huina tipper trucks as well,🤔 they aren't exactly a scale match with the excavator's,😕 Same thing with the excavator's themselves...🙄 The 1550 & 1580 look right next to each other, but the 1593 doesn't match up,😕 and that's mainly due to the size of its Cab, it's "Cab" is smaller than all the rest of the Huina equipment lineup, it doesn't really match up with anything else that Huina makes, Period! 🤔 🙄which creates another scaling problem,🤔 "Huina's playing well with other Huina's" 😕 And the Wpl 1/18 R/C's, are kinda right there in-between the two of them,🤔😊👍 I have a Wpl B-16 6×6 sitting here, and it matches up with the Huina 1593 pretty well,🤔 But it looks kinda small compared to the Huina tipper trucks,😕 The Huina tipper trucks cab, is slightly larger than the Wpl's 🤔 the Wpl's cab is a little smaller than the 1550 & 1580, along with the tipper trucks and front loader,😕🤏 and it's a pinch larger than the 1593's cab, but it's close 🤔 That's kinda one of the biggest problems with the Huina 1593 excavator,😕 it's Cab is too small for the size of the machine, and it doesn't really play well with the rest of the Huina equipment,🤔 which means that it's kind of a "standalone machine" which requires other "standalone vehicles" to match up with it,🙄🤦 and that's where the Wpl's fit in, they aren't exactly an exact match,😕 But they bridge the Gap better than the rest of the Huina equipment lineup.🤔👍 Scx 24's on the other hand are Wayyyyyyy to small ☹️ As for the lipo battery question; "depending on which model you have" yes they will 🤔 The 1583,1580,1593 excavator's & the 1582 tipper trucks along with the Huina front loader, All come included with a Lithium Ion battery, And running a "Lithium Polymer" battery, is basically the same thing,😁 The only thing that you need to be careful of "other than that it's a 2s or 7.4v battery" is the Batteries Discharge Rate, or "C" rating,🤔 the "C rating" is how fast the battery Discharges when you stab the throttle,😕 and these Construction RC's don't require much "C" I believe that the stock batteries that they come with are right around "3 C" And that's not much,🤔 Most crawler RC's run in between 25-50c, and most brushless bashers run between 25-100+c, But once again these Construction RC's require much less, anything more than 3c could possibly do some serious damage to the excavator's motherboard 🔥☹️ If you're looking for a larger battery or "longer run time" Then you need to find a 2s lipo with a higher mAh rating then the stock battery, but yet still has a low C rating 🤔 (mAh or "milli Amp Hour" equals total run time) 😕 The more the mAh, The longer the run time 😊 Most of the Huina equipment comes with a 2000 mAh 3c 2s Lithium Ion & or Lithium Polymer battery packs, which will generally run the machines for 45 minutes to a little over an hour,🤔 which isn't all that bad really. 😕 What I would recommend doing... is purchasing a couple extra stock battery packs "if you are looking for more playtime" vs buying a larger battery pack,😕 (That is unless you can find a battery pack that's the same physical size,or dimensions, as the stock battery pack) 🤔 A 4000 mAh 3c 2s lipo, would probably run one of these excavator's for a good two hours I imagine,😂👍 But getting one with a low C rating is absolutely mandatory. 🤔👌👍 FYI; "mAh rating" is how many Amps the battery is packing, 1000 mAh equals 1 amp, 2000 mAh equals 2 amps, 3000 mAh equals 3 amps, 3500 mAh equals 3.5 amps, 3600 mAh equals 3.6 amps and so on... The higher the mAh The longer the run time... 😁👌 These battery packs generally consist of Two 18650 lipo cells joined together, And they make those little 18650 cells with all kinds of different mAh ratings, anything ranging from less than 300 mAh or 0.3 amps, up to and beyond 6000 mAh, or 6 amps,🤔 So there's actually a ton of potential in a small package if you can find the right combination of mAh and C rating,😁👍 But purchasing a few extra stock battery packs, is a much easier and safer way to go.😕 Sorry for rambling, Hopefully I was helpful, lol 😂👍 Feel free to ask more questions if needed...☺️👍 And much appreciation for checking out the video my friend.😁🤜🤛

@@R.C.A.D. Thank you so much for the detailed reply too! That’t a bit of a bummer that the scx24 is a bit too small to run with this excavator. I thought since it seems to be based on a really huge excavator anyways that it might work out. I’ll have to rewatch your video and check out the cab measurements again when I get home and can check my scx24 as well. I’m working on building all of my stuff around the scx24. Found a toy tipper/excavator combo here in Tokyo that looks like it might be 24th scale. So I might be able to convert the tipper to RC on an extended scx24 chassis. As far as battery goes, thanks for the info. Glad that a lipo will work. Just asking cause I have a few 2s 500mah 60c batteries with jst plug for my scx24 already and wanted to know if they were swappable. I have been under the impression that just because the battery is capable of outputting amps faster (higher C rating), doesn’t mean that it will unless the system requires it too. Not sure where I read that though and I have no way of really testing that either. Anyways, thank you again for all the information!

You could definitely be right about the c rating and actual consumption of the vehicle,😕 But when you are on my end giving out free advice for these things, and in a day when people are lawsuit happy, It's always better to be on the safe side.😂👍👍 As for the Scx 24's; I've got two sitting in front of me right now, and the 1593 looks pretty darn big in comparison, But... The 1593's cab is pretty darn small,🤔 and it's just about an even fit with the scx 24's, I'm trying to imagine a driver sitting in each vehicle, and I'm thinking that they would have to be about the same size,🤔 So yeah... It might be a scale match after all,😕 "that is if you are basing the scale match off of the cab size of each vehicle" 😄 The Huina 1593's main body looks kinda big compared to the actual cab, but it's Cab is a good match with the cab size on the Scx24's.😕 Depending on how you film everything with camera angles, you could probably get it to look right on camera. 😄👍

@@R.C.A.D. Yea, I totally get it. Lawsuits are most likely a pain in the ass. Been lucky so far and haven't been in one and hope to never have to. Thanks for checking the cab size for me. That's exactly what I wanted to know. I saw some videos of the actual excavator the 1593 is based off of and it is MASSIVE. It's a Volvo EC950EL. So that's my justification for scale. Ideally, ff I could find a smaller excavator that looked more normal sized and was in scale with the scx24 that'd be awesome. Well, actually I did find a 1:20 scale excavator by Diecast Masters. It looks really good and seems to have performance on par with a 1580. Only problem is that it costs about $900. Unfortunately I don't have that kind of play money just hanging around haha. The other options that are more in scale size with the scx24 have pitiful performance. Diecast Masters makes a 1:24 rc excavator that another youtuber told me is perfectly scale with the scx24. Unfortunately it uses plastic gears in the arm and has barely any power for real digging. Thus I started dabbling in the 1:14 scale since that seems to be where all the rc construction action is. Then I ran across the 1590 series and thought they looked a bit off next to the 1550 and 1580 models. Did some measurements and it seems like they are just 1:24 scale being sold as 1:14 scale. That's good news for me, but they are still massive, haha. Anyways, thanks again for your replies and the content!

Ahh, live and learn! I'm guilty of the same thing for many different RC's 😂👍 And you can always modify the 1592 😉👍 Out of all the RC Construction Equipment that I have, I think that the little modded 1550 is one of my favorites, And a modded 1592 would probably be even better. 😊👍👍

What's channel what is it. The other has 15 then 22 channel?
@R.C.A.D.
@R.C.A.D. 5 месяцев назад
Good Question Robert ? 🤔 And it's been so long since I've used these, "that I can't really remember how many channels they have ? 🤔😕 Each function is a channel, and it's only got about 8, or maybe 9 at the most.😕 Left track forward/reverse is one Right track is Two Swiveling the turret is Three The booms are Four, Five, and Six The sound is Seven Plug in attachments would be number 8 And the flashing blue/red light "is just a flashing light, so I wouldn't really count it as anything.🤔 So I'd say no more than 8 channels in all reality Robert.😕 And the 1580 has one more with "the Smoke option" As for the plug in attachments; Those only count as One "since they are all sharing the same port, "and cannot all be used at the same time.😕 So I'd say that the 1550 is around 6-7 channels The 1593 is around 7-8 channels And the 1580 is around 8-9 channels. 🤔😕👍 And the only way that they could be considered 15-22 channels, "is if they counted each direction as a separate channel 🤔 Like left track Forward as One and Left Track Reverse as another One 😕 And that's not actually true,🤔 The left track Forward & Reverse only counts as 1 channel, and the same thing with everything else,😕 Right track forward and reverse is another channel, Swivelling the turret left and right is another channel, Moving the main boom up & down is another channel, Moving the dipper in & out is another channel, Moving the bucket in & out is another channel, and the plug in attachment port is another separate channel, and all that's left is the sound "which is just on or off" And the smoke option "which is just on or off too" So basically only 7-9 channels, "depending on which excavator you are talking about. 😂👍 Lol Most RC car's are only Two channels, Forward/Reverse is One and Steering Left & Right is the other one.😕 The way that Huina is counting them "each direction is a channel, And that's not True in the real world of RC's 🤔😕 Left track forward & reverse only counts as 1 channel Same thing with the Right track, And the same thing with the Turret, and so on and so on.😕 Huina is wrong with how they count their channels. Or at least they are in my opinion 🙄😂 ha ha ha lol

i’d upgrade to metal tracks
@R.C.A.D.
@R.C.A.D. 2 года назад
Sure... And you would probably want to upgrade the track carriage to a metal carriage at the same time,😊👍 😕 Just one problem 🤔 Nobody makes anything like that for these little Excavator's,🤷 you could of course "retrofit" the track carriage, and metal track's from the Huina 580, But that would require a Huina 580 to take the part's from,🤔 😕 Because sadly.. nobody makes replacement parts for that one either,🤷 Not even Huina themselves, Yes they do make some parts,🤔 😕 but that's basically limited to Circuit board's, Servo's, Track drive unit's, Replacement plastic track's, Replacement metal track's, And replacement metal track link's, As well as a set of "all metal" boom arm's for the Huina 1550,"which could be retrofitted to the 1593"😕🤔 But absolutely no Track Carriages, Idler wheels,or Boogie Wheels. 😕 So unless you have a spare Huina 580 laying around, your chances of swapping out to a metal setup, are pretty much slim to none.🙄😕 And on a side note, If you did actually have a Huina 580 to use, Why would you want to ? 🤔😕 I mean, the 580 is "all metal" from the start, and a much more robust excavator all the way around,😕 So why mess with a good thing,😊 You could slap all the metal running gear on the 1593, But at the end of the day the entire top half of the machine is still gonna be plastic,😕 Plastic chassis plate, Plastic cab, and Plastic Boom arm's,😕 and yes.. you can upgrade to the 1550 "aftermarket" metal boom arm's, which would probably be an improvement,🤔 But once again, the main chassis plate is still gonna be plastic,🙄😕 And it would quickly become the Weakest link in the chain after upgrading everything else.😂👍 "Ultimately" the best mods that you can do for the 1593, is adding a little extra weight to the inside of the Track carriage, Chassis plate, and on the inside of the body, That way you can stick to the ground a little easier, as well as being able to handle the larger buckets, & larger buckets of material, 😊👍 And then the Next best thing that you can do for the 1593, Is to modify the Main boom by relocating the "upward travel limiter switch" that way the machine is able to lift the bucket Much higher in the air, High enough that you can actually load a Huina tipper truck, while sitting on flat ground, 😊👍 And lastly.. Adding a metal slueing gear, and upgraded slueing servo, "if you can get them to fit correctly"🙄 😄 And at the end of the day"after you installed all of they above items" The modded 1593 still wouldn't be as good as a new 1580,😕 and it would have cost you at least the same price, if not double the price, of a new Huina 580 in order to build up the 1593,🤔😕❓ And once again, it still wouldn't be better than a 1580 just because of the 1593's plastic main chassis plate.🤔☹️ Don't get me wrong, the Huina 1593 is a great little machine,😊👍 But other than adding some extra weight, and doing the main boom limiter relocation mod, I would pretty much leave it alone,🤔😕 Other than getting the aftermarket "larger yellow buckets". 😊👍 Metal track's is a good idea, But at the end of the day it's just not a feasible upgrade. 😕🙄 Thanks for your suggestion as to "what you would do" and hopefully you are satisfied with my answer, 😄 lol And many more thanks for checking out the video my friend.😊🤜🤛
@R.C.A.D.
@R.C.A.D. 2 года назад
P.S. I also have a video on how to Relocate the Main Boom limiter switch on the 1593 as well as the 1580 if you are truly interested in getting either one of those machines.😊👍

They made the 1593 only 8 pounds ? The 1580 is 13lbs .that's stupid
@R.C.A.D.
@R.C.A.D. Год назад
Well it's probably because the 1593 is almost entirely made of plastic, and the 1580 is primarily all metal. 😕 "Ultimately speaking, if your the type of person who reads vehicle descriptions before you decide to purchase one, the 1580 is the obvious choice.😕 Not only that, but the 1580 also has the most upgrades available, including making it almost fully hydraulic, "everything but the tracks & swivel, can be changed out to hydraulics on the 1580. But they are all basically "beginner excavator's, at the bottom end of the RC excavator spectrum.😕 The fully hydraulic excavator's "made by several different company's" start at around $1,400.00 US dollars, and if you were to convert a 1580 into a hydraulic excavator, it would cost you roughly the same amount, So ultimately speaking, if you want a "fully hydraulic excavator, your better off getting one of those to begin with, vs trying to convert a 1580. But the 1593,1594, and 1580, are all great beginner excavators. As for how heavy they are; you can always add more weight to them "in order of making them a bit more usable in the field.😊👍
@R.C.A.D.
@R.C.A.D. Год назад
Oh... I forgot to mention that the hydraulic excavators can cost anywhere between $1,400.00 - $10,000.00+ U.S. dollars. 😕
