Looking at it in detail, I don't see the need to replace the entire system with servomotors as some do, as it is quite robust, as much or even more than with servos. Of course it has some weaknesses but they are probably in points that do not require being too strong.

Hello. Please if you can help .. I have bought a new WLToys arm, receiver and transmitter which I have fitted to my Huina 1592 with a minor mod but I'm not sure how to bind or connect the receiver to the transmitter. When I switch it all on the lights on the arm flash but nothing seems to work. It is all plug and play as far as the arm connections to the receiver board goes. Any ideas ? Thank you.

The gear is METAL on the bottom of the main arm....that is the most stressed part, impossible to make it out of plastic.

Great job! Have you understood what causes some "crick" noise when you force the two piston to the maximum strength? I fear is some teeth of some pinion/gear... and is not safe for overall durability... Can you tell us something? Thanks

The crick sound only existed on HUINA 1592, this HUINA 1593 fixed this problem.

I think HUINA 1593 is durable except motors, they using all 3-6v small DC motor but replace them is easy job.

@@HMGCreative I have recently bought 2 of 1593 and all of them have this problem, that is NOT the same of previous 1592 (I have two of them, even with changed pistonso from bangood). In 1593 the "crick" is really smoother, but unfortunately I fear is some gear jumping few teeths and happens in each piston of each model as you reach the the maximum strength during excavation.

It's an excavator, you don't need to go too fast. Its body made by plastic but all gears made by metal, enough durable to do some hard digging. Thank you for visiting my channel.

If you want to control this excavator with another Transmiter, so you need to change all electronics on it (new esc,new receiver, ...)
