I have two pens and it doesn't pick up both pens at the same time, it'll get confused and switch between the two, unless there is a setting where you can have two cursors on the screen

I find it hard to decide WHEN to change nib.. I had only changed my nib ONCE on my 13HD pen.. But that's cause I scrapped the nib, didn't realize and kinda made a small scrape at the bottom right where the scroll bar is so I changed it. But 3 years later? Nothing.. Lmao rip.

typical i have just bought the huion 220 v2. These screen tablets are on another level for drawing, thanks for your last review Jazza i have only just started watching your videos for the last couple of months but you have brought back the light and enjoyment back into my drawing. if you do read this keep up your work helping to inspire new artists or ones that start to lose hope. and i hope i can one day inspire them myself. thank you

I discovered and fell in love with Huion this year. I ended up going with the Kamvas 156 HDV2, which I believe is a prize for your challenge of the month. They really are a pleasure to work with. I'm glad to see reviews like this that show that across all their products you will be able to find affordability and quality.

Just ordered. Was going to go with the gt-191, but this video convinced me to do the gt-221 Pro. The Amazon reviews were incredibly positive, and the price was amazing (in fact, only ended up paying $550ish because there was a huge holiday discount). Thanks Jazza.

Jazza getting all enthousiastic about a free smudge guard and extra pen speaks volumes about Wacom actually... For what you pay for their products they're being quite stingy I've always been a Wacom fan... But with these price differences they're not even competition anymore. It's like buying a Fender or Gibson guitar just for the brand name

So Huion or Wacom? Since Wacom still didn't send a response to my _technical problems_ email that I sent and received the default response with _your case is registered_ last year, I think Huion would be better.

If you can afford Wacom, go that route, of course. But.. Huion is more affordable for Americans. As for us Canadians.. Not very. No matter what route we go we are charged like 2x's the price regardless. Also Huions initial activation force is definitely very much not the best. It requires quite a bit of force which makes the 8k pen pressure kinda.. Moot since the lightest ends aren't as accessible due to the harder pressure required. But I do LOVE using the Huion. I literally bought this used for $300. I wouldn't pay the $1000 for a brand new one.

At $900 Most people could pick it up in a few months during tax time if digital drawing/animating is something you feel you would really like to get into. However if you aren't sure there are smaller 14" pen displays for like $300-$500 I have 2 tablets from a company called Bosto and they've been pretty good to me but they aren't as well known as Huion.

There's some cheaper Huion products that still can give you professional results. I for one, bought a Huion GT-190, for a bit less than 300 pounds. And as a Game Art student who's about graduate I can't imagine that I will need a better tablet, ever.

Capitan Arr there is no such thing as “not knowing how to draw”. I’m pretty crappy, well, okay, very crappy at drawing, but when your older, you will be AMAZING! It’s *insane* how much someone can improve by simply starting. Watch Jazza’s video on how to practice effectively and do every single thing he says that will help you to practice. It works. Lesson is, just draw.

Honestly and truly, Huion are THAT good. The support is amazing and as he said they cant do enough to help If you get yourself in a pickle. I am a pro artist and animator and I am very soon starting a 3D and artwork site, I have used my Huion GT 220 for the last 2 and a half years everyday and it is just superb. The quality of the tablet is as you would expect from a pro tablet. I was using the Wacom Cintiq and when it was time to replace it and after a lot of thought I went for the Huion, I will never go back. I will now buy this tablet and it is has the reliability of a pro tablet and all of the new features like 8000+ levels of pressure, amazing company and a brilliant product

Ffs Jazza I bought this a couple of weeks ago and now you offer a discount?! In all seriousness I highly recommend the tablet, such good quality and have been loving it since getting it. The buttons have been unbelievably helpful for me and I use both the keys and a keyboard. One point, the double click function can be set in Windows 10 settings but not in Huion tablet settings (weird I know but it is possible to set it). I opted to keep one pen fully charged whilst using the other one but I must say the pen charged very quickly (had it connected for maybe 10 minutes and hasn't run out of power since and I use it for maybe 3-4 hours a day. Great video Jazza, love the production quality of Studio 2 ;P

can you review Huion kamvas GT 156 and guide the setup for windows? I already have it but some of those apps don't work on pressure when using pen and also press keys and touch keys aint connect proper. I guess it is new to me. I used old graphics tablets. sorry if my explanation is not very clear, my English is not my first language as I am signing user (B.S.L. So, a couple of weeks I decided to get a graphic tablet, when I was about to buy one, Jazza uploaded this review. So I watched it. And I was convinced to buy this one instead. And I did buy it. When it arrived it didn't work, I contacted Huion, got a reply after a few days, explained what problems I have with the device, and never got any further answer. So I had to somehow figure it out how to solve some of the problems and live with the other ones.

Excellent. This was very helpful as a person wanting to break into the digital art side. What also would be great if you could include tutorials on how to incorporate traditional hand drawn character, scanned and used on tablet and digital painting. Thank you. Your word is gold.

Nibs wear depends on your preferred pen pressure, the surface of the tablet, and what kind of nib it is. Plastic nibs on a glossy screen don't really wear down. Felt nibs on a textured screen can wear down in just a few hours (but feels soooooooooo good)

Thank you for this review, Jazza! I'll make sure to check Huion out thanks to your video, since I've heard rumors about Wacom having poor customer service and that most of their display tablets cause problems around the system. I'm just so glad that such alternatives exist, so my wallet would stop crying whenever I'm buying something art-related. Oops?

One thing I didn't see Jazza mention is how long the rechargeable pen lasts on a single charge. This is important because some other tablets/displays (like Wacom) use pens that don't require a battery, so if you are coming from that kind of pen to this one, it might be something you aren't used to. I went to Huion's site and downloaded the manual - it mentions that the pen will go for approximately 350 hours on a single charge. That's basically a non-issue if it's true, but it does make having a second pen really handy as Jazza mentioned in case you forget to keep your main pen charge and/or don't use the device for a while.

I picked this up back in October and it's fantastic. My one gripes are that I wish the left and right hotkeys could be mapped separately and not just mirror the keys. The scroll is pretty useless as well. Other than that, its super responsive and is a dream to use.
