I just purchased the Kamvas Pro 16 and then noticed the Kamvas 16(2021) was also available. I'm glad to see that the Pro still has the plus side against the 16. Was worried there for a second.
I really enjoy your reviews. I would love to see a comparison between the 2021 Huion Kamvas 16 vs XP-Pen Artist Pro 16 as I'm looking to buy a display tablet, but I'm caught between these models.
Great comparison. Shame that it still needs a power supply. I recently reviewed the Artisul D16S and loved that it doesn't need a power supply anymore, but gets powered through the pc's USB. The Artisul pen has come a long way, so much better than my old Huion Kamvas GT-191. I'm assuming that's the same for these Kamvas 16 pens?
yo can someone help me, kamvas 16, or kamvas pro 13? I'm in between, Kamvas 16 is almost like the same price of the kamcas pro 13 on where i live, but don't really know which one is better, kamvas 16 i'd like the bigger one ofc but the 13 pro is like the latest one.
Hello, I'm your new follower. this video is very good And I want to know between "huion kamvas 16 (2021)" and "huion kamvas pro 16", which is better and worth more? Hope someone will answer me. sorry for my english I use a translation app. thanks in advance 💗
if you test glare always always put them in the same position. not one at an angle to the other because you wont ever be able to test the glaa e that way
Thank you for doing this side by side review they have a new one out now 2021 HUION KAMVAS 16 My son is looking at buying one, but we cannot figure out the years and the model number and the difference between the models or model numbers Same with the 13 what’s the difference between all the different ones and which ones where built when ?
I'm a beginner on sketching and painting although I know photography. I'm experiencing dryness in my photography and this is the reason why I'm into sketching and painting. Although I still have my old Wacom Bamboo graphic tablet that I use to dabble paints in my photographs, I want to try 13 inch pen displays for direct sketching and painting. I don't want to invest yet on expensive Wacom Centiq lines. Can you do reviews on Huioun and Xp-pen or other brrands 13 inch pen displays?
this was a helpful review! i would like to know if these tablets (or any of the huion display tablets) can be used as an extra monitor? like an extended display, instead of mirroring what's already on the computer. thanks!
it actually depends on your first monitor for ex mine is surface pro 6 so kamvas 16 s monitor dissapointed me alot i know they are not comparable bc surface s monitor is 4k and i shoild ve consider it ....also the surface pen was much better than the kamvass though its pressure sensitivity is lower..
Hello! I might be late, but I've got an issue with my Kamvas 16... I've had it for over 2 years and yesterday when I tried to turn it on it just refused on me. Not only doesn't it wanna turn on, but it also turns my laptop screen black every time I plug it. I suspect the adapter is broken, but why the black screen on my laptop?
Generally speaking laptop screen would only go black if in dual display setup where only one display is set to show something, and the other will be black
With this tablet, do you think that you can sit in bed and draw on it? I’m looking for something like that so I can draw anywhere in my house, whether it’s a desk or the couch.
Do you have fix for offset cursor for kamvas 16? im just bought mine and find the cursor is not on right center of the tip pen, kind of annoying. I do screen calibration but still no fix. Help plz. Thank you 🙂
I have seen so many review I don`t know what to do anymoreeee, may I ask for your advice??? Betweena GAOMON PD1560 15.6, Artisul D16 15.6, huion kanvas GT HD and a huion kanvas pro 13 which do you think would be the best quality price purchase if you had to choose one?
I own the Gaomon PD1560. It's good for a 2017-era/last gen device and I still happily use mine, but if you're buying in 2020, last-gen screen tablets will feel a bit dated. You're better off going with one of the current gens like the Kamvas Pro 2019 refresh or Gaomon PD1561. MUCH better screens, unpowered styluses, and they fixed cable/port issues that plagued everyone in the 2017 gens. (I'm constantly hitting my HDMI cable when I go to use my mouse, which requires a unplugging and replugging said HDMI cable to get it to display/read properly once more. The Kamvas GT-191 had the ports on the bottom, so it was constantly crunching the cables when the stand was positioned at low angles. Stuff like that.)
I am a very beginner level to digital art and I have iPad, but I want to buy drawing tablet 15.6" anyway. I wonder if you can tell me which one would you prefer among XP Pen, Huion, and Gaomon? TIA!
Hi so I just got my Pro 16 thanks to this review. Did my setup and everything works great, but still not sure what the "switch brush" does. I was on my selective tool in illustrator, so I thought I just needed to click on my pen to switch to the brush tool, but did not work. Do I have the use of this wrong?
When I use the pen, it does not match on the screen where I point at. Like I point at middle but it recognizes way farther right from where i pointed. How can I fix it?
I am looking for a tablet which has the lowest parallax and the fastest low latency and most accurate strokes specifically to work as best as possible with adobe illustrator. which one should I get ? Wacom cintiq 22, cintiq pro 24 or a ipad pro 5th generatiom (the new 2021) with appel pencil 2 ?
@@anmac6910 It's difficult to say which is the best because the different models have different features. Just check out the list of pros and cons I have from the review for quick comparison. www.parkablogs.com/tags/pen-display
basicamente la pro tiene una mejor pantalla y es laminada lo que hace que la punta del lapiz este mas pegada al cursor en la pantalla, pero al final las dos son buenas opciones
Depends on the size you want and budget. They all have the same specs. Except for cintiq pros. Those have highest color accuracy. Regular cintiq 16 and cintiq 22 are the biggest cash dump ever though. My advice is for best bang for buck stick to xp pen or huion. The specs are the same. I use an artist 12 to save desk space.
Hi. I would like to ask about the pen for 16 pro- does It feel like wacom pen with a normal pen nib ? Or like wacom pen with a nib with a spring on IT?
Heya :-), if you make fast strokes with let's say a brush with about 20-40 px (nothing particularly big but something that would give the info), does the brush lag behin the pen or is it keeping up? By this I mean, is the screen's update frequency high enough for the brushes to keep up with the tip or not? Plus one more, how is it for very light sketches with sensitivity? Thanks :). EDIT: I'm asking about the 2019 model.
It's a 60Hz screen. There is going to be a gap between line and pen tip. Almost all tablets and pen displays I test have that, even the iPad Pro (gap is there but animation is smoother)
@@hazardousduck7679 You have to go into the brush settings to see. That applies to Photoshop brushes. For Krita, there's this additional arrow icons on top of the brush icons.
@@teohyc I see, thank you! I use a wacome intuos and am thinking of upgrading to an on screen tablet, so I was thinking that maybe having a touch option would be nice; not that i ever used touch on the intuos lol
@@teohyc Actually, I'm reconsidering. I'd rather have a portable option, so I can draw on the go. Besides anything Apple, can you recommend the best moderately priced device?
@@airbjorn4435 for drawing Apple iPad Pro, Air 3 and iPad 7 are the best. The android tablets, eg Samsung Tab S6, are good but not as good compared to Apple when it comes to drawing satisfaction and the variety of drawing apps
