Thank you for the review, very interesting. I have Huion Kamvas Pro 16 but previous model (GT-156) and for me it’s really best choice. 16’ tablets are good because they have big enough display to see whole picture but in the same time they compact if you don’t have a lot of space at your desk (that’s my case) Do you know how big is difference between the new one’s display and the old one’s?

@@eze_ossai hey! If you mean the old Huion Kamvas Pro 16 (GT-156) then you can do it: 1. Press and hold the lowest button (at the tablet, in left panel with 8 buttons and touchbar) 2. Hold until you see the menu, its like default monitor's menu 3. 2nd button and 3rd button (from start, not included power button, they are before touchbar) are right-left change position in menu. 4th button is like "ok" and 5 button is "back" So choose "picture" - "brightness" - and set as you want. You can also see what settings the tablet has and set it as you want 4. To hide menu press and hold lowest button again, or wait, it will hide by itslelf Good luck! ^^

You raised a really good point about the icons size of the 2.5k on a 16", is there a way to size the UI larger without going down a resolution? Because that's the deal breaker for me, if I'm straining my eyes for hours at a time I will be very sad

Thanks! The reason I returned my Wacom 16 Pro was due to fan noise. After reading online, I began to believe that fan noise is typical for Wacom devices. (What are your experiences with this?) I can't tolerate fan noise, so I was hoping Huion would be a good, silent alternative. Is it..?

It's funny to hear Lucas talking up the 24 pro, since my discontent with that tablet is why I'm researching replacements. The 24 is just too big for me to use confortably.

Can somebody explain the resolution problem? I don’t understand why a higher resolution would be a problem for seeing smaller elements on your screen

I'm looking to buy it, all your cons are actually not a deal breaker for me, but, the cables sticking out on the top part is really bad. Can't you rotate it 180º and then adjust the rotation in your operating system so the cables will stick out of the bottom right side? I don't see any reason for not being able to do it.

I using Kamvas 13 and lefty. Assuming they use same setup you gonna do all this step. 1. Window display = landscape (flip) the monitor 2. Huion driver = for 180° mapping coz we're inverting it 3. OSD ( On screen display menu to control brightness, contrast etc.), the built-in menu for the tablet to 180°

My pc is a laptop with a FHD 1080 resolution, is it worthy to buy these kind of tablets with 2.5K or 4K? I still don't undersand about this

Personally I can say, that depends. It is a matter of convenience, at 16in you really cannot see the pixels in a regular FHD but higher resolution will still be nice

it supports whatever you have installed on your computer... it doesn't have Procreate, because Procreate is for the iPad

@@LucasPeinador I agree, but there is no real progression in their product pricing. Or their product naming even. For instance a Kamvas 13 cost around 200, a Kamvas 16 cost 420, a Kamvas 16 Pro cost 400. To me the jump from 13 to 16 seems like the next obvious step for a person following their line, but those 3 inches cost twice as much, but then the Kamvas 22 costs only 150 more than the 16 Pro. And looking at them the Kamvas 20 costs 370. It's all pretty confusing. And lets not get into the fact that different models now have to be distinguished by their release year. So they've nailed the entry market with the Kamvas 13, but not really the next steps from there. From what I can tell.

Reading out loud tech spec. Not a single word how it feels when creating something. How does pressure sensitivity work, is angled drawing working, how does the lag feel. In other words, "not so honest paid promotional video" -feeling all over the place.

These tablets are a thing of the past. Just get a Samsung Ultra 9 and you will have a much better tablet with proper hand gesture controls. its so much better. the responsiveness is better, are no more of these random problems from windows changing something and breaking things causing horrible lag that even after 2 years doesn't get fixed. Trust me this thing is a dinosaur.
