I was looking for tablet reviews and I'm so glad I stumbled onto your channel! Great thorough review and I like how you get straight to the point. Not to mention those jokes hahaha. Subscribed!
so since I’m a poor mf I got a star g430s last year, and it was my best friend. i drew pretty well and it helped me a lot, good for beginners, easy to use, thin and good for the price! then i lost the pen months later and got a huion 420 instead. i don’t like it because you have to double tap every time you want to draw something, and it has immense lag. so from my experience, xp pen is better. :)
Interesting. When I got back into digital art, I started with trying to use an old pre-owned 2015 Intuos Draw that I got for around $65 (following a long story) before I was able to finally get a pen display. When I did, I went with XP-Pen after watching some reviews mentioning it being better than the Huion equivalent, of which I think one of the reasons was the jog wheel.
@@dejiko the medium sized ones are generally recommended and with xp pen its just a small cost extra. But if your a kid, I don't know maybe the small is big enough for you. I think Ross Draws has some anime tutorials and he's pretty famous, Angel Ganev even had a interview with him.
I’ve gotten my friend a drawing tablet for their birthday, I haven’t gave it to her yet because it’s a few months early around a month. The one I gotten was the XP-Pen and this can help a lot. She isn’t the best at art.
So basically, i am looking this channel for the first time...It says Mr Pink Beard in the Channel name...And the guy has black or brown hair(I cant tell, In watching at 144p)...And So, *MY DISAPPOINTMENT IS IMMEASUREABLE AND MY DAY IS RUINED* no offense ;)
G430S is designed *SPECIFICALLY* for osu, it has NEVER been adversited for drawing or sculpting so it's an extremely unfair comparison for XP-PEN. That's why it doesn't have buttons. Star G640S does so that's what you should have chosen to avoid recording an extremely biased review.
I never the buttons on my tablet, so I will definitely consider buying the star G430S or whatever. Though it seems that it indeed was a bit biased, because the xp-pen deco mini 4 for 40 dollars has buttons and texture on the surface.
Hi. Do you think the dedicated tablets are a better drawing experience than a good stylus on a MS surface? Is it the same thing as what you are calling a 'display tablet'? tx for this vid, and tia for any answers. peace
Using the surface stylus to draw can be good enough for a lot of people, and my wife enjoys using her stylus with her surface book pro rather than a dedicated tablet. You may be missing out on some features and pressure sensitivity, but you'd need to check tech specs to be sure
I absolutely loved this drawing tablet over the intuos and bamboo, because of it's size and setting the point sensitivity. Which felt better than the other ones I had, which, I stopped using because this little one fits the have perfectly
Having one of these to use on the go is really useful! I also recently got one of the display tablets from XP-Pen recently, the artist pro 16 gen 2, and it's really great so far.
This is exactly what i have its worht it and its also my first drawing tablet you can being it everywhere and also my first impression is that it is small, well its worth it its actually smaller than my hand,or my hand is just bigger🤣
I'm not even a 3D sculpter, I was just looking for opinions on the XP Pen for Photoshop use before I make a purchase but this video made me want to subscribe.
omg thank you!!! i think you are the only one that did the review for blender!! nd it was exactly what i was looking for, i was looking for huion but i got xp pen nd huion, two in one, thankyou so much
They look like pretty decent tablets overall, and I'd love to review more of their tablets. So as long as you enjoy working with it, don't feel like you're missing out
@@zela99 neither. I bought xppen deco pro, its a lil bit pricy compared to those two but its roller/touch wheel really caught my interest and I love it, I have a great experience to this tablet so far 😁
@@thezjj 7 months. It's been 1 week since it broke itself. I thought I will have that forever but nah :"( i just brought new pen tab right after. It's not huion tho but i will really make sure it will last. btw my new one is Xp pen deco mini 7😅
very helpful video, thanks! is it REALLY necessary to get a big tablet if you have a desktop pc? I see you can sculpt with those small ones and they´re smaller than your notebook screen. Suscribing for your content and for your pink beard at 10k haha
Totally not necessary, but it is a lot easier to work on the larger screen tablets than the small ones. But if you're learning or just starting out, definitely get the small one and see how much you'll use it
