Lou Ferrigno in his prime, was unmatched. I don't think, I have ever seen such a body symmetry in another bodybuilder, including Arnold. Lou was very tall, very muscular, with a very symmetrical body. Amazing genes.

Lou was an absolute MONSTER!! he made everyone look like a child.

Lou was an inspiration to me and many others back then!!! And he still inspires today!!!

Lou got bigger, stronger and more solid year after year. One of the biggest and best bodybuilders ever along side Arnold! He made everyone look tiny even Dorian.

This guy should have won WAAAAAY more titles than he did!? I've been saying that for years...A True Talent to the sport!

Lou Ferrigno, not Arnold Schwarzenegger, is the reason why I started training. The Incredible Hulk was one of my favorite TV shows in the 70's. I met him a couple times when he made his comeback in the early 90's, the biggest bodybuilder I've ever seen, and I've seen many.He was an absolute BEAST!! He is the ORIGINAL, mass monster.

The One and only BIG LOU from pumping iron, the Hulk, Hercules what a iconic bodybuilder and still going strong, and we had Arnold and Franco but Lou was a mountain between them, and we all know that he has the heart of a warrior and the passion for the art, even Arnold said if he had Lou genetics he would be unstoppable. The first time I saw Lou back in the days my thoughts that he should have been Mr universe 7 times because there was no one in his class for size and symmetry. And the the present day still looks amazing.

You're killing it Nick, just fabulous films. Love Lou, his story is very inspiring. Seeing him in the incredible hulk when I was a kid blew me away. I loved how gentle and kind he was to good people and how he kicked serious ass with the bad guys. Lou made that program real for me as a kid. I genuinely thought he was an alien or something - no man could be that big. And he was green! I had the pleasure to meet the great man, and his lovely wife, in a hotel in Dublin airport (Ireland) at my cousin's wedding. He was so kind to me, as a young fan, and his wife smiled the whole way through my incoherent babbling about how amazing he was. He was the biggest man I'd ever met, until I met Dorian Yates. Great to see Lou make a come back, he looked incredible. Unless you have experienced body building you have no idea the amount of work and pain one has to go through to achieve a certain aesthetic look. Leonardo understood the fullness of the male physic as did Michealangelo.

Lou was in his own element of greatness. He had a big heart great personality and charisma. For his generation I always preferred Lou . I think Arnold's win was more about keeping the credibility of bodybuilding in his name. The sport was big growing and Arnold had been leading the league. I believe it was more about sanction. I think the bodybuilding league didn't feel Lou would be a good representative to the franchise of Mr Olympia back then. Arnold was carrying the franchise in high revenues. But Lou really won that competition hands down. Sad business gets in the way with Truth.
