I'm watching this because I am about to use the hulk roller for the first time. It says this video is 4 years old and it looks like you're in your garage now you're building your own shop!!! Good for you, Adam!!
Great video! I just picked one of these up and haven't put it together yet. Can't wait, and I have already grabbed the electric drive for it. Don't think I could swing that handle all day! LoL. Subbed.
@@kentrockwoodtyler8798 What part are you having trouble with? Maybe I can help. I didn't have any trouble putting my together with the pipe threader and it works great.
Have you hooked that hulk roller up to the horrible fright electric pipe threader yet? Are you happy with the roller? I'm ordering one tomorrow for my shop. Thanks for the vids...Nice work your putting out!
I did two or three jobs by hand and went straight for that Hobo Freight pipe threader. Makes the whole thing WAY easier! I've had trouble rolling 2" square tube, I was trying to pump too much between passes and blew up the bearings. Swag sent me a rebuild kit for free though so I really have no complaints there. Just take it easy on the larger diameter stuff and you'll be fine.
How the hell are ya brother? I haven't been on Facebook for a while so haven't seen any of your progress lately but glad to see you're still hard after it. Hope all is well man.
I upgraded to the HF pipe threader and it made this thing REALLY nice. The only drawback is the pipe threader has so much torque you can destroy the bearings and dies faster. You have to be careful not to pump too much before running it out. I replaced 3 die sets and have now upgraded to a 50T hydraulic roller. The hulk helped me build up the volume so I could upgrade to the next machine. I 100% recommend it.
I bought the harbor freight roller and added on with the swag kit but should have just bought this the first time. It paid for itself in use just building all the body lines on my buggy by pressing a trigger. There is no way I would use this by hand, the pipe threader is the ticket!
Ha you have a tool you can make ends meet with! Just remember PieDi + your waste to make circles. Once the circle has made ends meet cut off the waste, weld it up smooth then run it trough the roller again.
Any way to use sound dampening in your videos... You make me feel like i am at work....and IM NOT! Ty for the Video i was mildly curious about the Hulk. Much appreciated!!!
Piece of advise if I may, of course delivered with a grain of salt. Obviously it's up to you; but being neutral in opinions in the videos and background will net an easier audience. Being pro or anti hard opinions will net you support from similar minded but also alienate opposers. I really appreciate the videos you put up about the table you made. Very interesting and also informative. In this video I noticed the antifa plaque in the background. Personally I'm neither for nor against the group. I have 100% neutral opinion towards it. Of the two "blue collar" workers in the break room with me watching the video, they both spoke out about the plaque with disgust of being a communist supporter, and one left the room mid video. Granted my sample size is very small; 3 people. But out of that, 2/3rds will not be subcribers to the chanel because of "political opinion" displayed that is not revelent to the video content. To me it's counter productive to growing the channel.
Super Joe hey thanks for the honest feedback! I'm always trying to improve the channel. I tried to stop cussing in the newer videos cuz I realized that it makes it tough for some ppl to watch. I'm trying to balance wide appeal with my authentic self. I'm not for everyone but metal fab is already a niche so I can't afford to alienate too many ppl. I'll keep this in mind for future videos. Thanks for watching and taking the time to share ur thoughts!
Antifa is not a communist group. They are actively trying to fight fascism. If your buddy left the room over that sign, he's a Nazi and you shouldn't be neutral on being friends with a Nazi.
I could a solutely make one of these. And if I value my time at zero dollars I could probably make it cheaper and with thicker side plates. But even valuing my time at a dollar an hour, there is no way to make this as a one off for personal or business use. They have the science all figured out and all the machining is great and of great quality. Just cleaning up each machine after use for a one off product makes it not worth it. Plus machining dies, axles, drive shaft and everything¿? I'd much rather save my time and buy this one. Maybe, plasma cutting your own side plates just for more thickness 🤷🏽♂️ but what's the risk to shafts and parts?? 🤔
