Fibreglassing of the hull bottom of Class Globe 5.80. First we coated the sections to be laminated with epoxy timbre preserver. Then we worked from stern to bow. The first layer was slightly overlapped on the centreline and the second layer was rolled over the centreline. Occasionally we had to cut in slits to conform the fabric to the shape of the boat. At the bow where all the fabric sections met, we had to get a little creative to neatly overlap and lay everything flat.
