Thanks for this frank. Love your build up pull down footage :) did you get to see the air max 360 pull off by any chance? Trying to see if it’s still travelling after the unfortunate incident. Thanks again mate
Hey. Yeah I did get some footage of Airmaxx leaving Hull fair on the Saturday. I won’t be posting it on any social media just in case any media/news crew take advantage of it
It always seems to be raining when the fair pulls out of town. It was like that when I was a child too. I wonder where these rides go to next. How far do they travel to their next set-up? Where I grew up the local Funfair season was as follows, 1st Week In June; Thornton (Fylde, Lancashire) 2nd Week In June; Kirkham (Fylde, Lancashire) 3rd Week In June: Freckleton (Fylde, Lancashire) 4th Week in June: Lytham (Fylde, Lancashire) 1st Week in July: Wrea Green (Fylde, Lancashire) One year I followed it through each town until after the Wrea Green fair, and then I think it went to Preesall. (which is just up the coast from Blackpool)
It was coupled up to a pat collins lorry behind the fair as David Taylor couldn’t get his lorry I suspect it’s now been taken somewhere by the HSE to try and determine the fault with it
