Hull International Fisheries Institute - Life Below Water 

Research at the University’s Hull International Fisheries Institute (HIFI) has shaped key UK policies aimed at the conservation of fish species and the protection of fish populations impacted by water-resource management.
HiFi have been working with Yorkshire Water for a decade or so. Our research looks at fish populations in reservoirs, and how we can improve the habitat by giving Yorkshire Water the right tools to enhance fisheries and ensure the resilience of fish populations against a backdrop of increasing pressure for water resources.
