Sometimes you just have to dare fulfill your greatest dream. If you fail, it might discourage you. Harm you. Destroy you. Kill you. But if it doesn't, if you succeed, it will make your life a bit better.
This is great. I think it demonstrates the things we want and connect with can sometimes control us and leave us half blind, wound us, bedazzle us. Playing those old tapes (records) in our minds. Great psychology!
absolutely amazing. would love one day to c how this kind of animations are done, like a making off. also it could be a good tribute to the creators of animation movies like this.
While I appreciate the amount of work that goes into producing something like this, little details can be really important. At the beginning, the record is turning in the wrong direction, against the needle. Also, the screwdriver turns in the wrong direction when screwing in the screw. Later, when he first starts playing music, the record is turning in the right direction in one shot, and in the wrong direction again when it's next visible. Nit picking, sure, but little details like that will be noticed, even subconsciously. They can cause just enough discord in the mind to take away from the story. They matter. Otherwise, an entertaining and well done short.

Wow... this is someything I would definately grade as cinematic quality. The animation is smooth and beautiful, and never lapses; it's clear to see that you've put so much work into this animation. I am reminded of the old pixar shorts... and thats a good thing! Respect! :D
8 mins 18 well spent! That such a short film can have such an impact, nice work. I felt genuinely sorry for the lil thing, and at the end you feel the sucess and happyness, the film really takes you in to the robots perspective and is directed with master craft man ship and precision. Rock on and keep up the good work.. I feel like dancing now :) Wack
i admire people that made this and d other great ones...bcoz...the drawing/animation r great..i cant even animate smoothly..or even draw/make a good sumting..but i'll practice

I'm trying to find that animation where the robot tries to escape through the window but he accidentally pulls out his wire and shuts down. Does anybody know where I can find it?
oh, tk u so much, Linus. i have no idea how these kind of work can be done, and i was born with encyclopaedias like "how to do", "how it works" ;) so i'm a curious on the "how" as a child in the questioning life's age, when i like what i c :) tk u once more, i'll certainly search for that to learn.
I still haven't figured it out yet, but for some reason this kind of animation freaks me out. not so much things liek the better animation. oh well, it must have taken you forever so i give you good credit there.
